just a minute....let me get this strate....people air punch people to scare people in the USA......just a minute while i pnder this............................ARRRRRRRRRRRRRHAHAHRAHRHAAHhR.

Im from the UK....and If a guy started to annoy the hell out of me by doing something like that I would just start to provoke them until actually went for me.....then id have the greenlight to break the guys nose in self defence. My school u had to be fairly aggresive.....for example the changing rooms for sports.....they were small rooms and a lot of te times people were ganged up on in them.....dont let the guys get to u but start to push your weight around more

and my advise for you is if u do get into a fight dont pause or hesitate during it.....(i usually waited for him to throw the first punch which I would dodge firl easily...this meant he was caught of balance) and if u do decide to defend yourself hit him with everything uve got.

Also Id reccomend becoming friends with someone whod be useful in a fight....one of my friends at school was about 6 foot 5, built like a tank and a boxer. He came in useful when i pissed multiple people off :D

You are incrediably immature. Fighting are for those to weak to communicate. In those situations, I bet you find it hard to talk. The only thing that comes to your mind is "F you, and F that."

Just yesturday I was walking down the street, home bound and I see a bunch of seventh graders walking away from the parking lot; twenty to thirty of them. You only see that kind of organization if there are A) in a gang; B) witnessing a fight.

This situation, the correct choice is B. One boy, wearing a wrinkled white T-shirt was stained in blood. He was a bit chubby, and he appeared to be Russian. The boy who fought him -- apparently -- was a loud mouth, dark skinned boy. He was incrediably skinny. Every word out of his mouth began with "Fvck" and ended with "fvck." I never saw anyone curse like that. Well, then again, I was never around little kids for a while; and boy, can they curse. He wasn't the only one. There were even a few girls there, cursing as well; they came out of amusment, I believe.

As I passed by, screaming and chanting could be heard. I glanced back, and I see a swarm of kids surrounding the fight between two males.

This is pathetic. Fighting rules there society. Fighting determines who is better. Are we animals?

We have cognitive thought. We have a conscience. We know what is right and what is wrong; well most of us.

Fighting leads to more vilence. Who knows there might be another Columbine in their small junior high school...

After watching this, without an affilation, one sees the truth.

On other note,

Downhiller:

Your behavior does not surprise me, however.

"Why?" you ask. Answer: You can tell a lot about a person by the way he or she writes.

i dont think people who get in fights are the ones who shoot up schools. its the kids who bottle it up and shoot the kids in their mind who take it all the way.

and while fighting to look cool is realy dumb and immature, we as men have used fighting since the beggining of our existance. we have done so for 2 reasons: those who can beat up others are phisicaly superior, which is some thing we all want to be deep down inside. and second: we enjoy it. we as primates (which is what we boil down to) and as men use fighting to get out our anger, which is why i dont think those who fight are the ones who shoot up schools. now both of these deal with our mental process, and one depicts fighting as something we do out of insecurity and our obsession with being the best. and the other depicts it as something we naturaly do to solve conflict (well, kind of. its a short term fix) and keep our self sane.

so, you decide: do we fight out of insecurity or is it something that we naturaly do to solve issues and keep social status (although the social status thing is now usualy decided by looks and wit)?

i just wanted to give my 2 cents

Those two cents are counterfit!

You don't nec. have to bottle emotions to shoot up a school. What if a kid was humilated in a fight, and he wants revenge. The only way to get the upper hand on the aggressor is by a tactical advantage. Such as weapons.

Anger brings out the improbable in all of us.

Humans have evolved to be better than instinct. We are more than ANIMALS. We, humans, have a better understanding of cause and effect; some more than others, of course. I, for instance, have an excellent perception of cause and effect. I think before I act, but yes, sometimes I does not always worked out as planned; but we are above primitive intincts.

Do you "pee" on a tree? Or do you hold in your urine until you see a toliet? Was this trait passed down from the Stone Age?

Do you fight other boys to show-off that you are a dominent male? Do you attempt to prove to girls that you are a compatiable mate by beating up a classmate?

If you answered no: Deleted your post, the one posted above this one.

If you answered yes: go live in a jungle.

i agree with you. im not deleting my other post though, so that people can better under stand what im about to say. i just want to say one thing: you say we have advanced to the point where we humans as a whole have a much better understanding of cause and effect than other animals (which i agree with). well, there is a contridiction in your post. if we have such great understandings as humans of cause and effect (dont even try to use the loopholes you left in the post above to get out of this), then the loser of the fight wouldnt bring a gun and kill the other kid. he might grab a bat or jump the kid with his friends if hes a real coward. losing a fight would tick the kid off, but only one loss wouldnt make him commit murder. he would realize getting even isnt worth getting charged with murder in the first degree (or having to commit suicide inorder to avoid life in prision) in order for that to happen, he would have to be somewhat crazy. but if he had been beat up several times before and still kept it in, well, lets just say thats a completely differnt story. and just to clarify, when i said that kids who are the ones fighting are not normaly the ones shooting up their schools, I ment the kids who were willing participents in the fight.

now dont misinterpret what im saying. im not trying to insult your intelligence, (because all your other post do it for me!! seriously, im just kidding). im just expressing my opinion on the matter.

Children, and teenagers are MORE self-centered than adults. They feel unstoppable, and the thought of dying anytime soon seems unreal. Most minors don't think about death throughout the day. Especially your own.

As I said in the above post: MOST of mankind understands the concept of cause and affect. Minors do not grasp the full concept, for the most part. Teenagers are egotistical, children are egotistical.

Don't believe me? Walk past a Toys-R-Us, or just sit next to a crosswalk nearby your school and observe. See how many kids walk across the street slowly in the midst of a green light, look at the little boy's eyes when he sees that toy, and begs his mom desperatly. What if his mom did not have enough money to purchase it; what does he care, he wants it. He truly does not understand the value of money for he, only a little kid, does not understand?

That kid was me, at one point. Before I hit puberity, before I turned 10.
That teenager was experienced by ALL of us, at one point.

A girl in Brooklyn drops her phone onto the subway tracks. She hops down and retrieves it. A teenager jumps onto train tracks for her phone. IS THAT WISE? WHERE IS THE CAUSE AND EFFECT?

She did not know... she died that day.

I have never read any cases of adults chasing after there phones if it feel unto the tracks.

Humans have the concept of cause and effect, even teenagers.

I do.

Now in retrospect to fighting:

Children retaliate with weapons because they lack the cause and effect. However 95% of school shooting the children UNDERSTOOD the concept of cause and effect. In fact, over 60% of them PLANNED IT carefully. 20% created some of the weapons at home (grandes, bombs, etc.).

Columbine, for instance. The shooters KILLED themselves, they understood the concept of "cause and effect." IN fact, they planned the whole shooting months in advance!

"and just to clarify, when i said that kids who are the ones fighting are not normaly the ones shooting up their schools, I ment the kids who were willing participents in the fight."

Sure you one may be willing to. To attempt to redeem his or her honor, to prove the opponent wrong. To be VICTOROUS. Who doesn't want to win?

But, what if you lose...

Would you be HAPPY?

Or, wouldn't you feel like SH1T?
The only way to solve the problem is to get revenge. But if he/she won the fight, he/she is OBVIOUSLY stronger; so the loser brings a weapon to "even the playing field."

Is happens frequently at my school, esp. last year.

you bring up several good points, and ill admit one thing: I was talking from MY point of view. by this i mean that I would be rational enough to not bring a gun, but now that im thinking of the issue from both sides i realize that not all are as rational as me (and apperently you). although this semi-argument is very entertaining, i say we stop. we could fill a 10,000 page book on why kids shoot up schools or do the stupid **** some of us do. But, i would much prefer to focus on my DJ'ing than on a topic that only mildly interests me and is causing an argument with another person who could at one point in time help with an issue of mine if they werent pissed off at me.

and about colombine, those guys didnt just plan for months, they made so many bombs it was redicules. they had like 20-30 pipe bombs (I think), shotguns, pistols, machine guns, and big as* knives! they were also off their rocker. they relesed the personal videos of the guys. they were screaming about killing people in all these different ways (like decapitation and shoving a shotgun in their victims mouths and leting off round after round untill their face was completely gone). i think the history channel has an hour long show on them some time this week.

i will say one thing though: you would make a good politician. you refuse to admit even the slightest error, even if it wasnt completely your fault.
