How often to say "I love you"

So recently I have told my girl that I love her and don't bother asking me if i do or not I just have a simple question. Do I keep reassuring her that I do when I see her or when do I say these words. I dunno if im confused but it seems like these words need to be uttered more than just the first time you say them. SO when do I say it?

Usually when you two are having a good time, but don't say it to much or it will loose its meaning.

Use it rarely........Last year when I was an AFC, I had a girlfriend which I told her I loved her 1 month into the relationship and I told her like every day...she eventually didnt even say it back....and she then dumped me. LOL....boy those afc days were funny. AnywayZ I would say it only when she does something SPECTACULAR.....maybe 1 or 2 or if you really have to 3 times a month. Trust Me.

the first time i told my girlfriend i loved her was after 4 or 5 months, but since then i've been saying it several times a day and it hasn't affected our reputation at all. actually, i think we wouldn't even be together any more if i didn't use to say it constantly.
but i am italian and it's very normal in here to say that to your girlfriend very often

Ok kids...You probably don't know what love is so DON'T say "I love you". You don't know what it is, therefore you can't mean it. I'm sure you've been with this girl for less than 6 months. How can you possibly fall in love with someone so FAST? It took me about 7-8 months to tell my gf that I loved her, and the thing is that I wasn't even sure if I meant it. There is NO WAY you know what love is so STOP posting about "I love you" crap.
The answer to your question: Saying "I love you" is JUST like saying a compliment. The more you use it the less VALUE it has for the next time...think about it.

if you say "i love you" as a compliment, just to have something back, it's not worth saying it... it would be enough to say something plain like "you are beautiful today"... i say it because I THINK i'm in love with my girlfriend so i don't see any point in holding that into myself

Unless you've been around with a ton of girls, you don't know what love is.

Honesty is the best policy. Tell her you like when she is around and she's amazing, if that's what you feel. Don't put up a false pretense by saying you love her - and you bring a lot of issues in as soon as you say that as well.

It's like going 'all in' in Texas Hold'Em before you even see your pocket cards. You just don't know. Could be good, could be bad.

I wouldn't say it until after three months of a relationship, I only say it after that point. And I don't really say it first, I say it when she says it.

With everyone sayin you don't know what love is until MUCH later maybe you are right. But what is love exactly? If i like (or love) being around her and everytime I'm with her its amazing is that not love? If that isn't then wtf is? But then again what are the words "I love you" more than just words? They don't really mean anything at all if you think about it. They're nothing more than reassurance that you care about this person deeply. So I'm not askin people to tell me what love is, but I've realized it doesn't really matter when to say it. Just when I feel like saying it and thats that. (not that I say it often)

see, this is totally subjective. I tell my g/f i lover her at least once a day, several times when we are together. but at appropriate moments, like after 10 minutes of staring into her eyes and caressing her. and i don't think she is gonna dump me, in fact i think she told her mom i'm the kind of guy she could settle down with. not that im looking for that, but i still like to know she loves me that much.


so there is no magic number. just mean it.

2 years ago i had this gurl all over me and i had only met her for 3 days. she'd always be dying to see me everyday (we went to skool together) and she told me she loved me after a week. late in the 2nd week, i decided to say it back, just once, thinking it wouldnt hurt

she started flaking on me, didnt care if she saw me at skool or not. one day i was asked her wat was up, and she goes that she cant help it but she just stops trying once she knows she has a guy

of course later i cut off all contact, played ganji games with her and got her back to her old ways but...
