I'm assuming you mean "choosing signs" or whatever, like an IOI from a girl you havent talked to or approached yet.
Eye contact, checking you out, etc.
Illogical behaviour that doesn't seem to make sense, such as her being really really nice for no reason, or cold when you didnt do anything yet.
Her changing posture near you, like sitting up when you enter the room.
Her doing the hot-cold thing (nice and attentive one moment, cold and brief the next) could mean she's already in the 'game on' mindset.
After walking past you, if she turns her head to the side as she's walking away, she could be using her peripheral vision to see if you're checking her out.
