How much would a brand new sport/luxury car improve my game?

I drive a 10 year old 2006 Toyota Camry even though I could easily afford a brand new luxury car. I make $100K but have lil to no expenses, and only have to take care of myself (single).

My Camry, for its age, is very well kept (engine & body), runs perfect, and is an otherwise decent looking mid size sedan. It easily can go another 200K miles.

Back to my question: in terms of picking up better quality girls -- how much would, say, a 2016 sporty BMW/Audi/Mercedes/Lexus type car help .. and would it be worth the $600-$1,000 extra a month ? I'm weighing the pros and cons of conserving/investing and driving a fancy car to improve my chances with higher quality girls.

I'm currently dating ~5s but trying to improve myself to get that number up to ~7+

I don't want to pay for a fancy car -- i'd rather keep my expenses low and invest. BUT I'm willing to do it if it will have a BIG impact on attracting higher quality girls (all else being equal).

Buy a car for your OWN needs and wants not to attract women. You'll just attract the wrong types anyway that are only after your money.

If you can afford it, then buy it. But, buy it for you. Yes, it will help get chicks, but that's just a bonus. I would buy a bmw convertible. There is a old saying, "when the top drops, the panties drop." I actually own 2 German cars, a roadster convertible and a large sedan. I have pulled women before cause of my convertible. If you get a date and she doesn't know about your car, then don't tell her, let it be a surprise.

Also, the car won't do it all for you, if you want to date 7s and up, you need to be in shape, wear nice clothes, and be well groomed.

If a girl is going to pay more attention to you because of your car, then she isn't the higher quality girl you are talking about.

But yeah, panties don't drop for a well-maintained Toyota. Get a newer muscle car and you will attract hotter girls, if that's what you're looking for. They'll also be the kind of girl you don't want to allow yourself to get attached to.

If you want a luxury car, buy it for you. That being said, an expensive/luxury car is part of the whole package. People will notice you more, true. People will also assume things about you. Some will think you're successful, or a showoff, or an a55hole, whatever. I inherited a 2005 911 Carrera. 95% of the time I drive my pickup. But when I'm driving the car I get way more attention from girls. Does that make them shallow or superficial? Possibly. Have I gotten laid just because of the car? No. Has the car brought attention to me that would not have happened if I was driving a Camry? Absolutely. Does that bother me? Not one bit. It's fun as hell to drive and thats all I care about.

I got a Hyundai Veloster Turbo with every option for $25K and only pay $300 a month. More girls have complimented me on it than the BMW M3 I drove for 17 years prior ($700 a month on average, first the lease, then the upkeep). Don't waste money on a car.

No, you have to spend more than $60k+ on an exclusive Gran Tourer that has a unique look, Corvette/Lamborghini/etc. To get laid strictly by your car, and even that has it's limits. Just put yourself out there and take care of yourself is the best advice, everything else is just extra. TicTac is spot on, a nice car alone isn't going to get you laid but it will get you noticed.

I would personally buy a Nissan GT-R, or a am going to in the future, because it's NOT a cop magnet(Nissan badge and looks like a normal Coupe at night) and no one really knows about it unless you KNOW about it. I would say 90% of the current state/highway troops have no idea what the GT-R even is. It's stupid good as well, it's nicknamed Godzilla after all.

But I do agree that you need to upgrade your car. Toyota Camry is basically family written all over it.

Women usually don't know much about cars, so If you buy a 4 or 5 year old Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar for $25-30, they will most likely be very impressed, I would suggest you keep the Camry to weed out the gold diggers and then show them your nicer car.

I drive an 04 infinity G35 Coupe, black, and it's Manual. I plan on keeping it, as well as tunning, and letting my kids drive it. Having two cars a good idea to weed out potential gold diggers but I don't think they're as common as people make them out to be. You can kind of just tell if a girl is low quality regardless of what "type" of low quality.
