How much should I ignore her?

So, I've been talking to this girl at my job for the past couple of weeks. I knew she was really attracted to me because of the way she always hangs around me at work, and also because of the way she drops everything when i tell her to come hangout with me. However, I had to punish her, because she has really big ego, and she kept saying little phrases like, "You don't know who you're dealing with", and "don't flatter yourself". I demand respect, and I won't allow a women to think she can talk to me like that, so I started to ignore her. At work I keep it cordial, and only talk to her if it pertains to the job. She's texted me a couple of times, the most recent of which read, "What exactly did i do to you?". I didn't respond, and that was a couple of days ago. I can tell she's really bothered by the lack of attention she's been receiving from me. She goes out of her way to be around me and make conversation. My plan is to wait until she feels like she has no chance with me, and then pick back up as if nothing was ever wrong. However, I also feel like she might just lose interest completely. Also, I don't know how to react if she acts bitter once I start talking to her again. Is my game plan strong enough? Also, are my concerns legit concerns?

What's with the passive aggressive high school girl games? Ignore her as punishment? A girl says some **** like that to me and I laugh! Because it is probably a joke.. Using negative affirmation? Really? Chick says that to me and I would just be like "I don't know who I'm dealing with? I'm dealing with a dumb little batch." but of course I would just be kidding too because it is funny to joke like that. You even hit it yet?? I would focus more on hittin' it than playing games. Like yeah have your own life, enjoy what you do, don't need to hit it, but want to hit it. If you do it proper, then she'll fall in love with you and you can have all the power.
