An update to my last thread about this, its been a few months and we've all changed.

Im also referring to your 1RM (1 Rep Max)

EDIT: Damnit I wanted to make a poll but I closed the thread on accident...

Well I did 225x2 legitimately the other day. My last max was 210 and I did that twice also, so I dont really know what my 1RM is, hopefully its around 225, that would be awesome.

I think my 1RM is around 180-190 lbs, and I weight 185 :(

I suck at the bench press for some reason.

i think i was 198lbs at 155lbs the last time you made a thread like this
and now i havent bulked any at all :( but my bench press has improved up to 220lbs (100kg) which is quite a lot IMO but my aim at the moment is 264lbs (120kgs) x5 which will take a long time but hopefully i will get it by the end of 2008 and i would also like to reach 170lbs of 180lbs by the end of the year ill see how it goes

I was at 250, but i havent lifted in two weeks. Im hoping to get to 285 by the end of summer, or 315...both seem somwhat plausible.

I weigh 133, have never actually tested my 1RM but those 1RM calculators say mine is 152.

Rep 135 for 10.
But Pec Deck is much better IMO, and I do 60-65 an arm for 7-10.

How much do you weigh? I imagine you must be pretty large for 16 years old, if you're benching 210 lb

Around 280, the scale changes everytime I step on it which pissed me off because I never get on official read. I hope to get a 250 max by September

Yeah, I feel like I still need to gain a few pounds :) But my height and my weight are supposed to be good right now..

Since I'm not that tall, i guess I'm not supposed to weigh a lot.

The reason why I can do this, was like months and months of training for this crazy game show called ninja warrior. :/

I haven't done max BP in a while...and now I strictly do narrow grip bench. Last was 205 x 5 at a body weight of ~170. Most I've ever benched for a 1RM, again narrow grip is 260 at a bodywt. of 180.

I suck at benches...I feel like I've plateaued and cant break out of the rut. I'm going to lessen the weight and go for higher reps to try and break out of it. Good idea?

I had been benching at 175 pounds then took some time off. I did 1 RM at 185 pounds today, that's 30 pounds more than I weigh. Sweet. :D It's fun to workout. I couldn't wait to get to the gym this morning, I feel very happy when I'm exercising, it's good to just get out there and do something.

only the bench is a real 1rm the others are just the highest ive gone
