Statistics value was relative since women lie before they even open their eyes. This is what I noticed upon of group in which were around 10 females.

Most of the time 6 or 7 girls would reject a guy who wasn't hairy monkey.

@ others

This guy fkin pulled it off like a champ http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/As_I_Lay_Dying-8208-Josh_Gilbert.jpg

Looks so fkin awesome.

He's now bald and got beard. Suits him really good.

I know what I'm gonna do when I start recede a bit further. For now I can go with whole long hair.

I guess I'll do henna tattoos on my arms while I'm young. Then simply as I age I won't have to go to those laser treatments to take them off.

Care to point to any studies proving causation?

C'mon guys, opinion ain't facts.
Here:

http://joe.endocrinology-journals.org/content/70/3/439.short

"The levels of pregnenolone, dehydroepiandrosterone (DHA), androstenedione, testosterone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), oestrone, oestradiol, cortisol and luteinizing hormone (LH) were measured in the peripheral plasma of a group of young, apparently healthy males before and after masturbation"

"The plasma levels of all steroids were significantly increased after masturbation, whereas steroid levels remained unchanged in the control study..."

And here: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/68082.php

First one shows the rise of DHT, significant increase I repeat, after masturbation. And the second shows how dht causes Baldness...

This is really 1+1. This isn´t widespread for obvious reasons... people gladly and uncritically accept every article that says that sex is great for so and so, even if it is ridiculous, but when someone points out that it might not be so good well... you know the reaction.

Am I sure there is a connection? No... But it does seem likely, some people will be more sensitive then others and so genetics do play a major role, this doesn´t mean that bald guys masturbate more than others.. My position is that one should be careful... I am not waiting this to be scientifically proven beyond any reasonable doubt to be prudent...

So basically the more you orgasm/**** , the balder you are ?

If so, by theory that females are attracted to men who fvcked many women, this goes to the water.

Since bald head with horseshoe isn't attractive to anyone. And since that horseshoe is made by shooting your army of spermatozoids...

As far as I remember your DHT is increased. But for a temporary amount of time and it goes down.

DHT is responsible for your erection. Guys who can't get their d1cks up got low T and low DHT levels.

Guys who take pills against hairloss ( some ) experience erectile dysfunction since drug lowers your DHT by 65%.

P.S. Not to mention sh1tloads of guys who fvcked many women and still got hair... Especially rockers such as David Coverdale, Steven Tyler...

Well genetics do play a role... Some men might be more sensitive to DHT. And guys who **** more women aren´t necessarily ejaculating more..

Thanks for that excellent scientific experiment. You've really contributed to mankind's knowledge.

Keep in mind that it isn't DHT that's responsible for balding, it's a man's specific sensitivity to DHT that's responsible for it.

If you have a "full head of hair" at the age of 80 or whatever, chances are that your follicles are not sensitive to DHT, not that you somehow have significantly less DHT in your body.

I should know because I take generic proscar to keep my hair ;) However, the reduction in DHT which it achieves is a workaround. The true cause is the follicle's reaction to the DHT. If that could be treated, you wouldn't have to reduce DHT.

I take stuff like this the same way I take the claims of carcinogens in about a billion products that we use. I'm not gonna bother with worrying about stuff that doesn't have any kind of consensus. I'll take it seriously when there's significant evidence for it. Take smoking for instance. Pretty much everyone agrees that it has plenty of harmful effects.

And of course if you cherry-pick statistics you can come up with any argument you want.

For example:

Studies show that exercise boosts testosterone. An increase in testosterone means that there's more of it to convert to DHT, so now you have more DHT in your body. Since DHT is (in part) responsible for hairloss, exercise causes men to go bald. Therefore to keep your hair you shouldn't exercise.

Pretty silly.

Oh wow dude. It wasn't a scientific study, sure thing, no need to jump on me like a prisoner who didn't see woman for 45 years.

And yeah you're right about DHT sensitivity. Whatmore there is Free Testosterone and another one ( I think it's bound..something like that)

Anyway. Excercise doesn't affect much conversion of DHT.

However there are claims that weight lifting and such 'heavy' things do that, as opposed to running (cardio in general ) thing...

P.S. Any side effects with Proscar ?

The implication is that masturbation does something scary to your body that could have been avoided had you engaged in coitus instead.

I can see it now: studies show anal penetration gives you a fuller head of softer, silkier hair than does donkey fvcking.

if you are losing you hair you need to shave your head and get in shape, there are lots of women who dig that look, but you have to be ripped

i still remember how many girls would say that they thought ed norton was extremely sexy in american history X when he had a shaved head, goatee, and muscles

Didn't read the entire thread; however, luckily in 2013 there are a myriad of ways to mitigate hair loss. Fore more severe cases, non-invasive surgeries exists--example: Wayne Rooney.

It's because heat EXPANDS things. Thus your pores are expanded and it's easier for your hair ( which when soaked weakens the bond... forgot itsname.) and roots to fall off. Most likely that hair gets shed was supposed to get shed since it went into telogen phase ( ending phase of growing, being prepared to get expelled and created by new hair in ANAGEN=growing phase)
Elementry materials engineering theories here which does not confirm your hypothesis. Heat does indeed expand material, but what you have to consider is that heat will expand material different amounts based on the cross section, so if you take a tube of metal, the "expansion" will actually reduce the effective diameter. For very tight clearance fittings ( bearings etc), you need to cool down in order to get a circumferential material to widen the effective diameter. True statement.

With that in mind, there seems to be a lot of misconception about "baldness" in an attempt to be able to "control" it. Fact is that its genetics. I look at pictures of my dad at my age, and he was balding when compared to me. I still have the same hair as age 17, and I ate like **** etc and still have my hair. Take someone with different genetics who did everything "right" will have lost their hair regardless.

Embrace it, or deal with it. I have had women tell me (some of them) that they will outright reject a guy based on height or baldness. On the other hand some like it. Overall if you can't control it its not worth focusing on. A few of my friends were going bald in their 20s and took the good route and bic'd it, and moved on. They get women, and are doing just fine.

Almost 70% of girls are turned off by guys with receded hairlines and baldness in the range of 18 to 30...
So shave it off like I did when I turned 30, simple solution.

Most women love men who have full heads of hair or who are bald. What they don't like are men who are balding. Just skip to the end already.

Plus embracing your baldness shows confidence, much more so than a man insisting on fighting a losing battle with nature and trying to keep it a secret.

If you're telling me to shave it off... Well I still got full head of hair.

But just wondering. :)

Balding here too. Early stages I guess you would call it. I am considering everything but a hair transplant, including the shampoo offered by the folks at Bosley: http://www.bosley.com/about_hair_loss/hair_restoration_options.php

My barber is actually selling the stuff (He said he is “Bosley Certified”) and said some of the fellas swear by it. Has anyone else tried anything Minoxidil based? As far as the “JUST LET IT GO, SHAVE IT” crowd, I tried. My head is shaped like an Egg, hence the nickname I had growing up, HenryEggHead!

I don't think balding matters unless you have a middle age over the hill look to you. I've got a really good friend who's balding but wears it well. He gets girls all the freaking time. Meanwhile I have a nice head of hair and here I am talking with you guys on sosuave.net lol

You are one of the lucky ones. I have taken great care of myself, it all comes down to genetics(father's side, I believe?).

I don't think it gives me that much of an edge. Statistically it's something like 60-70% of men start to go bald around 30-35. So almost everyone is in the same boat. I think women easily overlook the hair thing. It's more about money and confidence imo. Perceived value.
