How long until you stop caring?(need some major help, long read)

Thanks guys, all great stuff....

However I still do not understand the balance of being too in love with her while at the same time showing her I do love her..

So for future references so far from what I understand:
make yourself less available, ditch some of the dates she plans out or occasions she tries to see you, and keep the conversations more casual than cute...am i on the right track?
