How long do you, yes, YOU, wait to call a girl

the standard offered by the DJ bible is 3-5 days, ie: 4. however, after reading Master of the Universe's thoughts on the site, my thoughts began to change. do we really need to rely on such a formulaic system?

SO the question up for debate is:

are these rules written down in stone for DJs to follow or is a more whimsical and less controlled aproach always the best? how long do youi wait, and why do you wait that long?

No real formula, really. 4 days, maybe, whenever I feel like it. Sometimes if I wait longer than 5-6 days, there's a good chance I don't ever call, just loose interest. I was looking at some numbers I never called. Haha.

3 days, any more than that and I usually lose interest. sometimes less, depends on the girl really. If they're super interested I'll only wait one or two days before calling.

I started out waiting the prescribed week. And I'm glad I did because with that experience I learned a few things.

In most cases, waiting 3-5 days to call will not affect a woman's IL whatsoever. What matters is her opinion of you when she gave you her number to begin with.

When she gave you the home phone number was she thinking, "This man is gourgeous! Plus he's strong, aggressive, and naturally smooth. Funny too. Plus all my friends like him. Better not let this one get away!"

or was she thinking,"Ugh! What a wuss! Ok, you can have my number... just get away from me, you creep!"

It is the first impression, not the first phone call, that influences interest level.

I believe newcomers should still follow the Old School, DJ-Bible tested rule of waiting four days. But hopefully during the four-day wait, the newcomer discovers other things to do with his life than obsess over women, thus starting on his way to becoming the complete man that women truly desire.

Wating four days has nothing to with increasing a woman's interest level and very little to do with weeding disinterested women out. More than anything else, its a way for a newbie to discover more about himself and find what his life should consist of independant of whether women are attracted to him or not.

Waiting four days teaches self-reliance.

Simple.

I call when I feel like it. Heck it may be two days or hell it may be a week. If she calls and leaves a message of some sort. I call her back when I feel like it. Simple.

Im with smokey, the last girl I went out with I called the day after I met just cause I felt like it.

It totally depends on the girl and totally depends on the situation. I would suggest waiting but sometimes you know when I a chick is straight feeling you. I went to a club last weekend got this chicks number. I called her that same night, why? Cause she let it be known she was looking for a hookup that same night. She was also a little older and a little less inclined to play games. Sometimes you know when a chick is feeling you. I think it may take some experience to know the difference, between a chick who needs to be played with a little and a chick who you can just go straight after. The point; be fluid with your game. When you fall into the formulaic you limit yourself, and end up thinking too much

I usually get the number around tuesday or wensday, so 3 day wait is more convienent for me.
