The longer I live, the more I'm forced toward a choice...live an interesting life alone, or live a boring life with a "partner". So far, I've been favoring "alone.
Squirrels you aren't forced into anything. Think of the old saying...if it doesn't fit, force it, if it breaks you needed a new one anyway.

Problem is, you can't force life. You can't force women to be anything but women, you just have to have a fvcked mentality. People come and go all the time in our lives, that's just life. **** happens, and it's useless to psycho analyze everything trying to make it all come together, when each new day brings something different and you can't forcast the future.

The more 'rules' you place on yourself, the more you chain yourself down.

What's the difference between a guy that gets married and enjoys life, and another guy who lives life just meeting different people?

Nothing, at the end, they are just a couple of guys who will die someday and look back on their lives, and smile knowing they enjoyed it the best that they can.

Cheers, but it is your positive attitude that is impressive to me. Thing will get better for ya. Just curious, were you able to get state disability? That made it easier for me during my injured time.

Tried sending a PM, but your box runneth over.
Never looked into to be honest with you, but was on TTD payments for a long while both times. Then the insurance company went insolvent and they are being investigated by the state for fraud. The insolvency pool took all of their cases.

Back in October, right before the company's demise, they had the treating docs say I was okay w/out further testing and cleared me for work. Of course my employer let me go because of me being a HUGE liability.

I was fortunate my attorney fought for me and was able to get an IME after all that time had passed and that doc ordered several tests. All but one has been completed and I meet with him to find what is what.

The company wants to settle, but I obviously want fixed first and EXPECT a nice sum since all my troubles have ruined me financially.

Sure, I get depressed, but try to remain optimistic. These injuries and games played by the ins co. have ruined me. But this to shall pass.

My company did the same thing to a guy, and he sued them for it and won. Or settled, either way, justice was served.

It is amazing how stupid companies can be.

My company, which has a long injury list, preaches safety safety safety. However, 'safety' gets tossed aside when it costs money. Just recently, they took a piece of equipment out of service to get fixed. Found out a job needed it, and sent it right back out even though it was a safety hazard. Sure enough, a coworker got injured.

Good to hear you got an attorney, and are on top of it. It's good to know there's light at the end of the tunnel, of your journey.

FYI, insurance companies are pricks because there is an entire class (using the term loosely) of people who attempt to make a living by suing them. And as a shareholder, I love to see professional litigants get crushed. No allusion to Sold's plight here, to be sure.

I have been on a 1.5 year break from any dating. In this time, I grab the occasional ONS and I've got one I can screw anytime I so desire, but my effort level with women is ZERO. As well it should be.

I devote my effort to my job, my business, investing, my balance sheet, and my other activities like working out and being very active in the Shriners. In the next couple weeks I'll begin harvesting, so that's when all the women will start flying out of the woodwork.

Well, I have hardware in my neck and a scar on my neck to disprove any of the company attempts to say I was faking an injury, but there are some sorry people that ruin things for us honest folks.

I am a master mason as well and thought about the shrineship and the York Rite, hell, I did not even have enough time for the blue lodge and I am no longer active in my lodge. But none the less, I am was made a Master Mason in my heart.

Problem is that workers who do get injured are swept under the rug...

Take my last incident. I fell 10 feet, crashing down on a steel deck on my side. I had enough freefall time to think "this is going to hurt". Upon impact, my first thought was "what is broken". I was shaking uncontrollably for an hour because of the impact.. Thankfully, no damage.

They took me of the job, their 'doc' said all is well. I said to him, you do understand I just had a 10 foot fall. I got it in writing, just for future reference. They put me right back on the job again.

There's a whole scam going on there, nobody talks about.

I'm "dating"... but I've taken a MENTAL break from female anguish. It's been going on for a few months. Any situation that is laughable, stays as laughable and I don't worry about it anymore. I've gone out with some "quality" women and I've stopped seeing some quality women.

This summer was all about Kailex and ME ME ME, so even though I HAVE been seeing other women every week, I've chosen to not fall victim to over-thinking certain situations and to just put myself first in every single scenario.

Ever since my ONEITIS thread a few months back and having Rollo interject with a key phrase, my mind unlocked and exploded and I haven't looked back since.
