This is actually more of a specific situation than a general rule.
I went on one date with a girl sophomore year, and it wasn't too much fun so we didn't do anything else. Easy to move on of course.
Now it is senior year and I see her around a lot (similar classes and what not). first of all she's way cuter now, and second of all she seems to like me.
Normally I wouldn't care about "risking" anything when asking a girl out (or making a move at least), but I'm afraid in this situation it would seriously hurt my game at my HS if freaked her out trying to start something again.
1. just do it
2. ask friends
3. try to judge her reactions (not my forte)
