How is Cabo during Christmas for a single guy?

My family is not doing any get-together this year because of Covid issues and I live in an area in the US where it is super cold. So I was thinking of going to Cabo alone for Christmas. Has anyone been? Would there even be partying there at this time? Would it be fun? Any good resort suggestions?

I haven't been there during Christmas but if you stayed at the right hotel there could probably be some fun to be had. It would be really easy to meet girls at the pool/swim up bars as long as you are social and in good shape. However I suspect girlfriends will be cahk blocking stronger than ever in that environment. ME Cabo resort would be my first choice. Attracts a younger party crowd. There are several clubs/bars downtown.

Most travel is centered around couples. Women 25-40 who would be in Cabo for Christmas are likely there with a boyfriend or husband. It's conceivable that a group of 2-3 single women in the 25-40 age group would travel to Cabo, but not likely in the Covid era. Women don't travel much alone until their 40s and later 40s at that.

You're better off taking the next 10 days off and figuring out what you need to do starting on January 2 to attract women in your local area. Once Christmas and New Years pass, women start to focus on real world stuff, like starting to date new people.

Dont do it. Those type of beach resorts are mainly for couples unless you go during spring break or high season.

I think you should consider it an adventure, and check it out for future reference.

Going to the airport, being on a plane with 200 other people, going to another airport, going on a bus to the hotel, staying in a hotel with a bunch of unknown people is ok.

But 6 people at a dinner table for one night is too much?

To clarify, that was my family's decision. Not mine. So now I am trying to figure out what to do.

Can you meet strangers in a new place and befriend them? It most commonly is at the pool in the daytime . This Summer I was at a resort in Montana at the pool and we got to talking and like 3 groups all came together just talking in the pool. I had folks offering beers from their coolers and just talking about everything.

You gotta get the "stupid" feeling out of your mind. You are "Carefree with nothing and no one to hold you back". Do you know how many people who wish they could go to Cabo on a moments notice?

It could be as easy as asking the group where the cool bars are, what restaurants are good, and letting them BRAG a little about what a cool time they are having. DO your research before...ask leading questions. Heck you might even know the answer...but it gets them to open up to you.

Go have a cool, authentic experience, that you can tell the girls and guys back home about.
