How Important Is A Nice Car?

Ok... basically I'm kinda worried about picking up this chick I met last week for a date tonight because of my car. It's a 98 ford Taurus...not exactly the pimp mobile you wanna be in for scooping up a girl on a 8.5/9 scale. I'm 24...she's 27, so in my head I'm assuming that she is looking for a guy who already has it in order. I work a decent job, I dress nice, got some money in the bank, Nice apt.... My car just dosn't fit the rest of my image. How do you guys think this will impact her impression and what can I do to be at eazzze? This is throwing off my swagga in a major way...but I want this chick to like me for me.

I think the car has very little to do with how girls see you. Unless your car is hella nice or it's just plain dumpy. Just make sure it's clean inside and out and your fine.

Pretty much every girlfriend I've ever had wanted me to get rid of my Jeep ("it's always muddy," "it's too tall," "if you didn't waste money on it we could go out more," etc..) You've gotta drive what makes you happy or fits in your budget. Screw what the women think.

I drive a '99 Taurus SE... Girls honestly don't even seem to notice that it's a ****ty car.. Women for the most part don't know **** about cars anyway. If your car is clean and looks nice, then that's extra points for you. Almost every girl that has been in my car has remarked at how clean my car is. Not even exaggerating. Women notice that kinda stuff...

I drive a '90 Chevy truck and I used that for a lotta dates, cuz I like to go off-road and show them places around that they probably have never been to.

Keep your car clean inside, wash and keep the exterior looking nice on the outside. Why want a woman that judges you based on your car... I see a ****load of hotties driving in beat up junky ass cars.. That just made her even more attractive.. I dunno why lol

Btw, what kinda gas mileage you getting in your '98 Taurus? I'm honestly getting anywhere from 17 street and 22 highway.. I was expecting much more.. Pretty ****ty though.. So I'm kinda disappointed.

HAHA true but if you do get a car like mine (06 Evo) be sure to watch out for the Turbo lag. I say this because if you get a car with a Turbo you will know and if your into cars and fix it up and everything they will HATE the Lag, I remember my first time I took a girl in my EVO(last time as well usually take them in my green sports trac) and I love to drive fast so I totally forgot about the lag and all of a sudden I start to hear it wind up my girl was like "What's that noise" and I just say "You'll see" and couple of seconds later BOOM whip lash! She was pissed I didnt tell her and said it's a crappy car and should be fixed...lol .

But yeah, girls know nothing about cars. Having a nice car doesnt really do anything for you, and having a crappy car doesnt hurt you (as long as its clean).

What is going to reflect badley is how you take care of your car. Does your car have ugly dents or rust? is your car dirty on the inside, or smell funny because you eat in your car and sh1t falls down on the floor? is your car messy? Is there a mechanical problem with your car? faulty breaks, engine or tires? Your car is like an apartment, how you take care of it reflects who you are as a person.

Sh1t like that would hurt you more.

I wasnt gunning it and I was being blocked by some guy in front and on my left there was another guy passing so it took a while lol.....but I am thinking about getting a bigger turbo, but that will have to wait my dreams of having 900hp will have to wait since I am getting diff stuff and would rather get everything all at once and have it tuned all at once then one at a time.
