How important are looks?

Looks aren't as important as CONFIDENCE. But since this buddy of yours has his confidence tied up in his apperance, it's very important to HIM.

He has no game because he never had to work at it before. His looks drew in the chickies. Now he can't do that and it's killing him. He gets depressed and eats more...a vicious circle.

Exactly Water, you know exactly what you're talking about...I said this not too long ago.

That is exactly what happened to me. My first girlfriend or "puppy love" was at the age of 11. That was the first time I ever made out with a girl. All throughout high school my looks did wonders for me. Then after high school, I was like "Oh sh*t, I need game". I never had to rely on game before. While the good looking guy growing up is pulling in the hottest chix, the ugly and dorky guys are working on their game. And by the time these guys are out of high school, they have chix lined up waiting for them, while the the good looking guys have pretty much zero.

can't remember who said it, might have been you, but they said, its your look plus how you display yourself. its your delivery......you cant deliver without your confidence and you cant deliver optimally without some kind of good look.

good looks + good display of those looks (good delivery) = getting you laid.

If this is so, explain this to me then; There are countless "chubby chaser" websites dedicated to catering to this particular "fetish" for men, but not a single one exists for women, why?. By that I mean there is a percentage in society of otherwise reasonably fit men seeking out obese women, yet the standard for ideal masculinity seems to remian constant for females by the lack of "fetishes" for obese males. There is such a demand in society by men seeking fat women that businesses have been developed in order meet it, but there is no similar demand on the part of fit women (or one not sufficient enough to register) seeking overweight men. Why do you suppose this is?

Because Obesity in men is looked upon as low survivability and low reproduction values.

While it is generally perceived as the opposite in chubby women.
Chubbier women, who happen to still have hourglass (yet full) type figures are still looked upon as desireable.
We believe now that the classic hourglass figure in women usually correlate to higher reproduction value. Hence, the sexual attraction to them by men. Men have evolved to sexually desire these types of women, Since, it coud be argued, they produced healthy offspring, and could survive difficult times too.
As we continued to evolve, the means of attracrion got a little bit more sophisticated in that we now also consider a "pretty face". Because we have higher intellect and can recognize what we know now as "beauty".

We are attractedt to beautiful women because we are hardwired to procreate with them. Couple THAT with the hourglass figure and you have men who will have strong sexual desire and WILL procreate with these women at all costs.
Thus the evolution of sexual desire and the dynamics therein.

The lust we feel is programmed inside of us.

That lust will help to ensure we have intercourse with those women thus ensuring the reproduction of the species. Sexual attraction is designed to produce offspring. Through evolution, the human mind has been hard wired to be attracted to those body types that give the appearance of high survivability and high reproduction value.

The stronger the sexual attraction, the stronger to orgasm. And women aremore likely to conceive when they orgasm during intercourse. They are biologically hard wired to seek out men who give them orgasms.

Men do not always look at women throught the filter of "Can she survive a harsh winter?" "Can she start a fire?" Can she killl a deer?"
etc..

Men who are fit are looked upon as survivors, warriors, hunters..and sexually desireable. They have a higher survivability rate and reproductive value.

That was an awesome point and question.

I disagree with your answer Interceptor, obesity in women is looked upon as low survivability and low reproduction value too. I think obesity fetish is really just an abnormal sex fetish. I think it's an example of men lowering their standards while women will not.

I understand your point, Keto. But I never referred to "obese" women.

I referred to "chubby" women.
I also feel believe yes, that the BBW fetish is still a fetish. Yet one rooted in hardwired attraction dynamics.
And, yes, there are some males who are attracted only to BBW because they feel they can only attract these types of women.

I also am sure you realize that body fat was key to survival, correct?

And if I'm not mistaken, a heavier woman, not obese, by virtue of being chubbier also produced more estrogen. Thus, IIRC more fertility. Thus, higher conception rates. Thus, higher reproductive value.

Also, please review my answer referring to Men specifically. I don't see how you can not agree with that.
