How high do you aim?

I noticed that most AFCs that surround me usually aim in the 6-7 range. Anything higher than that usually gets a "yeah, good luck there buddy" response out of them, no matter who's approaching (if it ever gets that far). However, i tend to go for 8 and up. Not because i'm terribly good-looking, but because my belief is that the man's attitude is what determines his placement on the scale. So someone who thinks he can only score with 6-7 won't get any better except by pure luck, but someone who's aiming high may very well get what he wants if he tries hard enough. Like the saying goes:

"Aim for the moon, and if you miss, at least you'll end up among the stars"

So the question is: how do you guys rate yourself look-wise, and how high do you aim? I can't really rate my face, but my mugshots usually get around 8.5 on hotornot, if that's worth anything, but i'm not sure, because it can be pretty damn inaccurate sometimes. My body's pretty athletic, and is probably an 8, depending on who's looking: i'm likely to appeal more to a girl who favours the athletic Brad Pitt look, rather than one who likes guys with 18" biceps (though i may very well get there someday ).

I'd always thought of myself as a 6.5. Tried the hotornot gimmick, and got from 6.7 to 7.2 depending on the style of pic. So that was kinda nice.

I go for the 6...8 range. That's on my personal scale, which is as much about style as looks. Reason: in my limited experience with them, the 9+'s are a royal pain in the derrière, which I don't think I should have to deal with. I like my women sweet.

Some chicks do it for me, others don't. Why waist my time going the easy path and scoring with a chick that id only give a 6 to ?

I always go for the ones i am MOST attracted to. They usually end up being around HB8 - HB9.

Exactly. This is probably one of the smartest responses I've read in this board in a long time.

I think half you guys who only try to PU 8 or higher woman are delusional. Let me explain:

Thus, you see an average looking girl, maybe a 7.5. So, you instinctively say to yourself. "Well, I'm the King of all DJs. This woman is not up to snuff. I'm not going to even look, try, smile, or do anything. I can do better. I'm a DJ."

Soon as you know it, here comes another 7.5 female. Then, a 6.5, maybe a 7.0. Ohhhh, twin 7.0 females with great personalities. But alas, you are the DJ with the hugest sack, and these women are not 8.0s or higher. So? After 4 months of not finding an 8.0 or higher woman that you find attractive, you laugh at those AFCs who are putting all their heart into an average 7.0 woman. And you laugh, knowing you are the greatest DJ in the world.

Reality Check:
After 4 months, your game has gotten soft. You aren't sharp because you don't practice DJsm on anyone. You become self absorbed, thus, when a legitemate HB 8 comes around, you are too out of practice and so self absorbed that you don't try. Even if you don't try the HB 8, then, you become ****y and ignorant thinking. "It's ok...she's not a 9"

This thinking is self defeating. You ultimately become scared and use the excuse that "SHE ISN'T HOT ENOUGH".

A true DJ is charming to all. He will use every opportunity to be C/F. He will give KINO to an elderly woman. He can charm his LTRs mother. He can motivate people around him to do better by his persona. He isn't afraid to make a 6.5 woman feel special, thus - he is always sharp and witty in any approach. He is attracted to all, because he attracts all.

Don't limit yourself by numbers.

Either you live in the middle of nowhere, or you're far pickier than i am - i could meet dozens of women that i find attractive (most of whom happen to be 8+) downtown in a single day. Alright, so that'd require quite a bit of time, but i can easily spot one every half-hour or so. FOUR MONTHS? And as for being charming to all, sure i am. I just don't try to sleep with em

A fair few women I've met can go anywhere from a 5 to an 8, given certain conditions.

I personally enjoy potential beauty. I don't go for women who always look 8 or above, because they're often too much effort, and also I'm nowhere near being a real DJ. Either way, that's not my point.

I find that potential beauty is far more of a turnon than a full layer of makeup and a skimpy outfit. I'd take a 6 or even a 5 anyday if I knew she could be a 7-9 if she tried. And I'm good at recognising those types.

Some guys assume that just because a girl is a 9 that she's high maintenance. That's not necessarily true. I consider a 9 or up to be basically some girl with model potential. I haven't hooked up with any 9's, but I have tried. So far they all have had boyfriends. I only go for 6's and up.

I had my wingman given out hell to me a couple of weeks ago - I was chatting up 2 french girls and kept going for the 6.5 instead of the 8.5 cos I assumed the hotter one wasn't into me. I was wrong, she was giving buying signals but I missed them because of lack of self-belief.
