I got nothing when it comes to dancing.

I feel like everyone is watching laughing (lack in confidence, I know). That is the only time I feel like that.

Just stop thinking about it and go do it. The more you think about what you're doing when you dance the worse it looks. Thats why I always dance best when Ive had a couple beers because I stop thinking about every little move that I make. Another good way to get over the fear is to find a girl to dance with. Grinding with girls is easy, just put a hand on her hip and move your hips with hers.............. Also, realize that people dont care what you dance like. Im sure you've seen the big drunk guy on the dance floor doing some 70's disco moves and everyone thinks he's the man because he doesnt care and just has fun. Theres something to be learned from that guy.

As a black friend of mine once said "If you think you look cool, you're probably gonna look cool. If you think you look stupid, you're probably gonna look stupid."

Camp it up. Most men can dance its just that they have to look gay to do it.

If there isnt anyone in there that you want to impress specifically than you can't lose.

Bringing yourself to look like a sausage jockey in front of someone you want to impress takes a lot of guts. But if you just want to a pull a random (bird that is) then camp it up and be silly. And yes its possible to look cool at the same time.

It's a superb way to get to grind close to girls if you go over the top and when they find out for sure that your not gay they'll be over the moon and love that you have such rhythm.

Be careful though, make sure you dont get carried away, else you might get beaten up by some homophobes or worse, sucking off some fag in the club loos later.

you might be in a better position than you think. what we've identified (my mates and i... here in london at least...) is that dancers fall into two categories... the really bad dancers and the really good dancers...

there is no middle ground... well there is... but nobody notices them... its because to dance badly and not care shows confidence... to dance really well shows confidence too because you know people will be watching.

if you really want to learn to dance, go to some sites like www.dance.net or www.gopfa.com and just watch some of the videos - it takes a while, but don't try to dance like michael jackson or justin timberlake or anything, just borrow some moves and develop your own style, and heres the most important thing - HAVE FUN DOING IT - i found the more I enjoyed practicing dancing, you feel great, and you end up looking forward to going clubbing to DANCE and HAVE FUN thus taking the focus of looking for girls or how you're looking... then they end up coming to you... lol

good luck
peace

Dude have you ever seen "You got served"? White people can dance, it's just getting over the stereotype that's the hard part.

And yellow people can outrun blacks and dunk on whites. Just ask the Chinese 110-meter hurdalist, you brutally spanked all of his black/African/African-American competitors in the 2004 Oylmpics. He tied the world record, set by another black man. Ask Yao Ming, who ownz a lot of the centers in the NBA. It's all bullshyt - white people CAN dance. Asian men can fvck. Black men can excel in academics. With enough drive and determination, 95% of "insurmountable" tasks can be achieved in due time.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Since when does being white mean you can't dance?

The only thing I can think of is if you want to dance to ....*ahem* rap "music." Or that you want to dance like a rapper.

If that's what you want I wouldn't recommend it. Like oil and water, rap and the white man don't mix.

Rap music is, as far as I can tell, explicitly black culture and anyone who's white who tries to get involved is simply a wannabe. Even if not, that's how they're going to look.

Other than that I'm sure there are many different types of dancing you can learn. One of the first things I think of is slow dancing, which you can probably do with no problem at all.

Side note:

As you can probably tell, I don't think rap is music. It's unpleasant noise. Plus, the things I say about it being explicitly black culture can make people think I'm racist, I'm not. I do have a friend who's half-black, and he likes rap music.

Man, do I ever hate having to be politically correct, else risking resentment being directed towards me.
