Falling in love is not something evil and to be avoided at all costs. The PUA who avoids it does so because he knows he is no natural and his true colours would be shown. The natural does not because his 'true colours' are still alpha and attractive.
Don't be a PUA. Be a real man who dates women. Pick up artist and people who identify as such are only focused on the very very tiny first part of the game, meeting a woman and getting laid. But that's just step one on the check list. Because they haven't developed as a full person they don't know what to do besides pump and dump...they have no concept of a team and team management.
Having a team (several girls, or plates) generally keeps you from the whole oneitis, infatuation, falling in love thing. After a while of doing that, you start to learn how to control your emotions. It's okay to feel something for a woman. It's okay to care for a woman. It's not okay to put your own interest in second or third place and to sacrifice yourself for a woman.
Experience is how you keep from falling in love.
