How does a DJ act in a job interview?

That's right, this question is not about women, but about a job interview. I'm about to get an interview, in a few days, for the most important job I have applied to so far, a very important one indeed. It's an introductory job in the world of politics, but one that pays very well, close to six figures.

I am usually very good in interviews as I give out an aura of confidence and assurance, without seeing too ****y, but I still want to put all my chances on my end. Hence, as unorthodox as it seems, I ask a dating forum for help. I know some of you guys are in a position to help me, as a lot of people here has made it a life goal to work toward self-improvement, to be the best person you can be, and this portrays not only with women, but in day-to-day life, in your career, etc.

I obviously prepared myself according to the job description, made a one-pager to describe my vision and the city (the employer)'s vision as it got a new mayor recently. I also made a second document to outline my strengths and accomplishments, which is more for myself than to share with them. Now, any other tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Confince them with your skills and bring a confident attitude, be clean, smell good, get a new haircut wear some fresh clothes and go show them what your worth.

Don't think about being a DJ, just put yourself out there and also listen well to what their saying. Read about the company a lot so that you know every single aspect about them, that way they can't surprise you

It doesn't matter wheter its a guy or a woman or two of them, show them you are what they need

I walk into job interviews like I already work there. I'm smiling and nodding at everyone around as if they are my longtime co-workers. I sit down and chat with the interviewers as if we've been working together for a year.

This has had a 100% success rate for me.

Sidebar: I pretty much walk into any new situation like I've been there before. While I have never been told directly, I feel as if my walking into rooms as if I own the place has at times been off-putting to others. Whether or not you or I care about that, I guess that's up to us...

I remember when I was a very young man I went to a job interview. The guy I was supposed to talk to was busy, so I was told to wait. The guy was taking a long time, and at some point I happened to rest my eyes toward the (male) receptionist's desk, which I was seated beside. Not really looking at anything, but my eyes had to be aimed somewhere, you know?

The receptionist dude gets frigging irate with me, "Are you looking at the stuff on my desk? That stuff is none of your business" and he tells me to get the hell out of there, my interview was cancelled. I thought damn, if people there are suck pr!cks, I don't want to work there anyway.

That shows one reason why people prefer receptionists to be female. Women are more comfortable to deal with, more friendly, and better in the service industry n general.

Dude, I could WRITE the book on job interviews. I've aced them, bombed them, and everything in between. All I can say is this, just like with women, you've gotta spin plates. Almost every job offer I've ever received is because I had another job interview, phone interview, etc. on the back burner WHILE I was interviewing for the job that offered me.

Nothing sucks more than going to an interview knowing that this is YOUR only hope. LOL, it's rough man.

Life is basically all about having options. I'm starting to realize that now. whether it's interviewing, dating, all the ish. It's all about having options.

For the actual interview itself, KNOW about the company. Don't just glaze over the website. STUDY IT. go into the interview with a note pad and a pen and preferably one page of that note pad loaded up with questions about the company, the specific job your interviewing for. Don't be afraid to take notes while they're talking to you about the job.
