Being 36 years I get rejected by a lot of women on Okcupid who are 35 years old. (I consider 36 too old). If I really like them I prefer to write to them twice since that has worked a few times in the past. I'm wondering if I should ever use as an argument for why they should date me: look, you're approaching your date of expiration so maybe you ought to compromise or is that simply stating the obvious. Of course if I did say that I would put it more indirectly.

I'm all for learning how to attract women, how to not put them on a pedestal, and so forth. However, some of the posts here lately make me wonder if these guys have ever spoken to a woman who wasn't the cracked out cashier at a corner store. You should be messaging women who are 18 to 25. That's number 1, and number 2 is that you shouldn't be messaging western women at all. Use couchsurfing and target women from OTHER countries, like China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand... your hit rate will increase from 1 out of 10, to 9 out of 10.

If you want to tell a woman she is getting too old and she needs to compromise, bring your 24 year old wife around and say nothing.

You don't. Trying to convince women with logic almost never works. It only puts them in an awkward spot which makes them even less likely to want to deal with you. Not to mention this is offensive. Being offensive does not work, especially on someone who doesn't even know you.
