The BEST way to stop constantly thinking is to live in the NOW!!!

Think of now and not what has been or what could be because then all you'll have is a life of anxiety and depression. Living in the NOW and in the moment curse all of that.

Good luck, Bro.

I have been going in circles man... For the past two months, I have been thinking and thinking, it's driving me nuts. can someone please tell me what to do? I don't want to think anymore!!! I don't want to think anymore...
I have friends to hang out with, but when i hang out with them, there's something missing inside of me. There's an emptiness feeling, a void.

I feel the same way day in and day out and I can't even remember the last time I was actually "me". This has been going on for years and I've also have ADHD. Welcome to my life... you're definitely not alone.

As has been said try standing back and observing your thoughts and say you accept them and they have no power over you.

You can also try thinking positive thoughts. Write down all good things in your life and think about them. Keep thinking about them and they'll drowned out the negative thoughts.

Try sitting still. Close your eyes and imagine something great happening to you. Imagine that it is happening NOW and feel good about it and be thankful for it too. Gratitude is another good habit to get into.

The human mind is made up of thought so to stop thinking is to "die" and i dont think you want that..

What you need to is set goals and tasks to occupy your mind and avoid the random and obsessive thoughts... Making schedules helps your mind feel at ease cause you are already organized...

physical activity can calm the mind too

I agree with Don on this one. You have to start getting busy doing things. I was where you were once. I now work out all the time and I found a church singles group to keep me busy. Also, I have a cruiser that I love riding when I'm a little bored. I also LOVE to read. I read a lot of the tips on this website and books.

I think if you hit the gym for about 2 hours a day you'll feel so much better. Do you work? Are you in school? What's your story?

Too Many Women?

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Guys! I don't need a psychiatrist... seriously...

What I really need is some advice on how to deal with the negative thoughts and the "good feeling of her" that is coming into my head. That is all.
How do you deal with it? i am not sure if you understand what I mean...

I want to isolate my mind from having so much thoughts running around... it's really really hard to concentrate, I can't shut them off. A lot of times when someone tells me something, I would go blank because my mind is not in the moment and I am zoned out. i don't want that anymore... I just want the freedom I used to have.

i know my self esteem is draining like a flush from a toilet bowl... and I just want to stop the draining further... what can i do?
You do need some counseling. You need what's called cognitive-behavioral therapy. This will help change your negative thoughts with positive ones.

I'm gonna turn this around. YOU MESSED UP! SH1T HAPPENS! there is no value rethinking and rethinking about anything that happend, ACCEPT what happend. ACCEPT that once you enter the down going spiral of bad lack/bad timing things will carry on for awhile like that. there is nothing you can do about it for some time you can not change it by yourself waiting around sitting around, you will need to stay open for solutions and look for them and when you see one GO FOR IT!

YOU MUST turn your way of thinking into a positive attitude. now I know this can be verry difficult for some and easy for everyone else.

some people break and go mental when someone they love dies.
others FREAK OUT cause they dropped their ice cream
there are those who give up on life after losing a limb.
and there are those who close up and become hostile in self pitty cause they are financially ruined.

each of the described situations is EXACTLY the same as it all depends on your own interpertation of the challenge infront of you. You must accept the situation and fight for it with every viber of your being to get out of what ever the situation is and continue to fight another day.

stop feeling sorry for your a$$ wether your 20 or 40 or 60. NEVER EVER give up! NEVER EVER bow down, NEVER EVER look for pitty.

YOU ALONE and nobody else can work this out for yourself!

The idea is not to stop 'thinking'
The idea is to be non 'sticky' to those thoughts.
Don't be so attached to them.

Thoughts are just thoughts, they are not you, all that encompasses you.
