How do you respond to.... Wat?

Ok this happens to me all the time. I'll be talking to a girl, and then there comes a moment where we are both just looking into each other's eyes. Not like an awkward moment, but it's like we are both becoming aware of our sexual states. I dunno it's hard to describe. It's a good moment, not awkward.

Anyway, after a few seconds, the girl goes "What?" in a curious way. I'm sure you guys have had this happen. It happens to me all the time. I think it happens when the subcommunication is getting strong or something. You guys know what I'm talking about?

So what do you guys respond with?

I usually say "I didn't say anything" in a sly way, or else I just repeat it back.

Then she might giggle or whatever and the conversation continues.

I say when she asks "why?" just go "would you like to kiss me" mystery style. If she says No then you can say something like "Then why are you so quiet I thought you were thinking about it"

I think mystery's line would be "It just looked like you had something on your mind".

If you are confident enough just get close to her and kiss her or say "come here close" and kiss her.

I'll be browsing on a masculinity forum and this guy puts up a thread asking what to do if a meaningful silence coupled with positive eye-contact occurs mid-conversation with a girl he finds attractive.

How do you respond to that?



Wht, it's quite simple. If you're too held-back to simply move over to her and kiss her, or ask her boldy if she wants to kiss you (or boldly state that you want to kiss her), you'll end up asking her "What?" in return, accompanied with a smile. Inevitably, the fluff will continue and the moment to kiss is lost. Of course, going for it as she focuses on the talk again, taking her by surprise, is effective too.

If the moment is lost, not to worry. If the interest is mutual and strong enough, it only reinforces the sexual tension, and other such moments will arise. In fact, letting a moment like that pass for the first time is probably more effective if done with confidence and strong eye-contact from you, as it demonstrates the illustrious "value". Though nothing is lost if you were more uncomfortable than confident if said girl is interested enough.

But to answer your question: you respond according to your guts. I think you did this time. If you want to do it differently next time, just lose your thoughts about the situation (which put you at a distance and into a state of fear of rejection), embrace your feeling and gut and go in for the kiss.

If she stumbles and looks suprised or retorts with a smile and a "What are you doing?!", you simply state "Something I wanted to do" and smile in return. Women, interested women, love that.

But you know this instinctively deep down, don't you?. There was no real need to ask that here, now was there?
