Hey guys,
I've been talking to this girl in my Culinary class for about 4 weeks. She's hot, and has a really attractive personality that makes me want her even more. She's that type of woman where you tell yourself, "I have to get that."
Anyways, she shows the obvious signs that she likes me.. she smiles at me (sometimes she'll even turn around in class and smile at me for 3 seconds..), she touches me, etc. I have this gut feeling as well. She had a boyfriend during the first 2 weeks of knowing her, but she dumped him really fast (a sign she's ready to move on?)
So today is, hopefully, going to be our first date. I told her that I was going to do x - and she asked if she could do it with me, and I agreed (she's done it a few times, I've never done it before - I'm more curious than anything else), and we planned to go today, on Friday, to a glow in the dark mini putt place and to a movie, and then back to my house, probably.
But, of course, luck is not on my side. Her father told her yesterday that he's going to a party and that she has to stay behind and babysit (her mom works the late night shift). So today, while we were cooking, she told me this, and I told her I was dissapointed (wrong thing to say, I know) and she agreed and said that she's been looking forward to this since we planned it on Monday and that she dosen't want to be stuck in the house all night.
So she said what she is going to do is lie to her father and say that she has to go to her friend's birthday or something and she has to go to the bars. I'm hoping it will work, but here's my question:
I told her to call me at 6pm, which she'll do to tell me if she can go with me or not - if she says no, how do I react to make her feel sort of bad - but not to make me look desperate? A response which would make her want to hang out with me as soon as possible, but, like I said, without looking desperate (I'm really not desperate).
Thanks.
