That's because they are scams lol. There are some that could be legitimate for sure but you are basically going to be connecting with a woman who is looking to use you as a one way ticket to the west and ultimately a life of comfort and luxury. I don't know about you, but that's not something that I would want to attract into my life. I'd especially be wary if you were a white man doing this. It would be a bit different if you were Indian and meeting an Indian woman or whatever ethnic group that you'll find this in (Latino, African, Asian, etc.), though a lot of times this will be something like an arranged marriage, meeting through family connections, etc.
I personally wouldn't resort to mail order brides unless it was my only option left. If I'm in my early 30s and in the same situation as I am now I may consider it but I would really have to watch for scams
Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

I've crossed paths with a couple men that did something similar to this, if I remember correctly the women were from the Philippines. One of them I know had a child with the overseas wife, so I'm not saying it's impossible. He was short and not a particularly attractive guy so it kind of made sense why he gave that a shot, he really had nothing to lose. I'm glad it worked out for him but I think it's one of those things that if not done correctly could result in a lot of wasted time, money, etc.

However, if you are not reasonably attractive and have a decent income, you will be eaten alive just as bad or worse as you would in the U.S. @BergischerLöwe What line of work do you do? If you have the credentials to get a traveling job, just do that. It does not even have to be global travel, any situation where you are being introduced to a new group of women is going to yield similar opportunities. Going to places where the number of English speakers is low will not help you much at all, unless you become fluent in the native language of the region.
Unfortunately I have no career right now. I'm gonna have to get career counseling to sort that out

How should I actually go about going to eastern europe to meet women? What all would I need to do?
Get a passport and an airplane ticket, book a cheap hotel and check out the capital cities like Budapest, Prague, Bucharest, et cetera. Even if you don't pick up any women, you'll become an experienced traveler, which to many women is attractive in its own right.

You can actually get a commercial license and become a commercial truck driver for free, if you sign a contract with a freight company. Becoming a Welder is another option. My welder friend has been all over the place. There are also numerous other traveling trade jobs like pipeline fitting and instrumentation. Some companies will even pay for your tuition to get certified in some fields. The financial aid department of your local community college or trade school can set you in the right direction for doing this fast and cheap.
How would I go about approaching european women? I would imagine one has to be more subtle since small talk isn't something europeans engage in as much. Then again I can't even bring myself to approach any women rn lol

One of my friends did a program like this and made decent money driving all over the country. Beware of "lot lizzards" though.
