how do you go about getting a chick to go dutch for a date

went on couple dates with this chick..once out to eat..once just to the bar..both times she didn't offer to pay for ****..Supposed to go out again on thursday to the movies I got $40.00..any suggestions on how I could get her to split the cost of snacks at the movie theater?

Stop offering/inviting chicks to go on dates, until, one, you have bed them, and you are ok with paying for the whole thing, or until they treat you to something, by paying.

Another alternative is to suggest/invite her to cook for you.

Tell her, "You still want to go to movies? Ok, I get the tix, you get the snacks. Fair enough?"

I just decided that Im gona call her tomarrow..tell her Some unexpected bills came up..so i wont be able to afford going out..and that if she still wants to get together I got a bottle of some spiced rum and some beer..we can kick it at my place and watch a movie here..whatcha think?

Not a bad plan IF you have done all the groundwork for you to be able to pull it off. I got a question for you? Have you kissed this one? Have you escalated physically/sexually with her? If your first two "dates" have been pretty non-romantic/non-sexual, and then you drop the "come hang out at my place, I got a bottle of some good $hit, we can party", I seriously doubt she will agree. I would still try it, though. Better than taking her out and paying for yet another asexual "date".

Be prepared to answer her questions, stuff like, "Go to your house and drink? For what?", "What else are we going to do?", "Why do you want me to go to your house, I hardly know you?", etc. She knows what you are up to, and if you haven't set things up to where the next thing to do is to hook up or get closer, and you expect her to just show up to play, you will need to have answers to her questions.

Is your goal to remain friends with this person you took to the movies? If she's just a friend, and you are not planning hitting on her later, then there is no problem you paying her way.

If being platonic friends is not your goal, then stop taking girls you are interested in to the movies the first two times and start doing what you have or need to learn here to get to your goal.

Better yet, go hit on girls that are not your "friend".

I usually go for what Gangster suggested.

'Right, I'll buy the tickets and you can buy us popcorn and a drink!'

Or you can say that you will pay this time, and she can pay next time, setting yourself up more for there to be a next time.

Definitely a good idea to get a bit of rapport and a connection before going to the movies though... I wouldn't do that if I hardly knew the girl.
