How do you become more social?

How do you carry conversations better? I realized that I have very different tastes in music and TV from most kids. Often times, I'm at a complete loss as to what to talk about. Also, people often talk about football or fantasy football and I just have nothing to say... Or, how do you become part of a group that has already established relationships, regularly hangs out, etc? The only hot girls in my grade belong to that group. I could hang out with them but it wouldn't help because when they hang out they just sit around and talk about stuff I have no opinion on/or know about. wtf

I would pursue your own interests and be great at what you do.

Greatness is attractive to women, it really helps especially when trying to get those girls in the established social groups. For example, I recently got a radio show on my campus, and now I have a perfect thing to talk about with HBs, I look for similar interest in music taste.

So pretty much that, pursue your passions and hopefully turn them into something you can be proud of, and chicks will dig it. When you talk about PASSION then it really shows and women like that.

Also you can just talk about whatever random **** comes into your head. It's common knowledge on this forum that body language says waaaay more than your actual words. So just talk about some random ****, have high energy, and imagine f**king her while you talk to her. You'll know if its working or not. Or you can also compliment/tease her about something she's wearing, or something going on in the environment. It doesn't really matter what you open with, just go for it and see where it goes!

Grab your balls and just walk into a group as if you've always belonged there.
You'll discover that most conversations aren't about pop culture or what was on the tv last night... They're usually about absolutely nothing. Just keep your mind open, observe, and comment.

I have completely different taste in music than my friends and I watch TV rarely yet I usually have a topic to talk with them about. Topics as mucic an TV aren't so usual as you might think, it's more about experiences and since I'm on HS about school etc.

As you develop yourself, you will need to find ways to occupy your time. Examples are clubs, going to the gym, and hanging out with people will similar interests as you.

Once you start spending your time wisely, you will find people who are like you. If you think you don't connect with them right away, go back for a couple more weeks and see how you feel then.

If you wish to carry your own weight in a conversation and become a personable "dude" you must do two things.

one- Read up on pop culture
two- Read this book and more importantly PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

i'VE got a 50% return investment, you can have one too. It's just a question of buying a large old house, with a dozen or more BIG rooms, at a righteous price. then you divide those rooms in half, and rent them out to the homeless, for like $80 a week. Honestly, smiling more is the best way.

I spent only one day at school doing it and had WAY better results with the way people treated me than EVER.

Goundra, u seem knowlegdable, but have u read what forum your in? The HS forum bro. We ain't buying houses with dozen rooms or more, well most of us I guess will never even buy such a house unless going into stocks/ whatever.

We deal with social interactions. How to make a girl horny/ like u/ inlove with you etc. And the answer is defnitley not in the stock exhange market.
