This thread p*sses me off. I dislike these robots who need confirmation for everything they do in life, pretty sad

Makes sense, I'll keep that in mind.Originally posted by Dr Box

Becoming a DJ is about improving yourself to be more attractive to women not learning a whole heap of canned responses to throw at them every time they say something, as all that will do is build initial attraction but after they have seen you a couple of times they will realise you have nothing good to say. Sometimes I think this forum creates robots not DJ's.

Is it just me, or is every post you make basically saying "Be the dominant male"?Originally posted by Mr. Cardio
just be the dominant male my friend, its in your body language, whatever else you say or want to say, means nothing, hell if she compliments you fvck it, say something AFC is you want, you gives a fvck, as long as you dont lose your dominant stature, you are fine, but if you lose it, you are up a creek with no paddle, aint that how it goes.
LOL....that was pretty good. It seems to boil down to showing that you value yourself and can convey it in a way that makes her laugh. I have a feeling that the previous statement encompasses a large part of dealing with women effectively and has been reiterated many times over.Originally posted by SynapsyS
Some girl I was talking to the other day said "You know, I LOVE your eyes!"
I backed away slightly and said "Hey hey hey, NOT for sale!"
She laughed pretty hard, and i followed up by saying "anyway, thank you" and how lots of people comment on my eyes etc.
What people are missing here is that a reply doesn't have to be a single statement.
If you notice, I "deflected" the compliment with a funny remark, then followed up by sincerely accepting it, then being a little ****y as well.
3 stages. You can't have a single reply which acheives all the things you get from a 3 stage reply.

I don't know about you, but my homies and I are tight. If I was stranded and needed a ride, one or them would be there to pick me up, and I would do the same. As for the girl... heh... diff storyOriginally posted by Dr Box
If one of my friends called me for that reason I would tell them to get stuffed, if I wwas an AFC then I would do it. So therefore my response is No.
This guy is right.Often, the best response is "thank you." This is because it shows the most self confidence. If you say a C/F answer, you risk coming off as too ****y and if you deflect it, you risk coming off as insecure. Compliments aren't really the same animal as other comments so when you give it the C/F it doesn't always come off as "cute."
And againOf course there are exceptions
Yeah I would do a lot for my mates but I was trying to get a point across, perhaps I should have said it differently, how bout I say if they werent stranded and were just being lazy pricks.Originally posted by chancer

I get complimented on my eyes pretty much all the time. I used to get embarassed and not know what to say. One day, out of nowhere, I came up with the response "Thanks, they're Gucci." Everyone seems to love that one.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.
