How Do I Help Her Move On?

There's this girl that I like and she likes me, too.

Her and her boyfriend are taking some time apart right now. He was the one to suggest it. He wants to figure out what he wants to do with his life and all...this isn't the first time he's done this with her.

I think her and I would make a good couple. Thing is...I don't have a job and/or a car. Her boyfriend now has both a car and a job.

She said that she wants to move on from this guy. We both like each other. What should I do to help her move on? I've done/said things and I think it's helped...

Any advice will be helpful. Thanks.

Why does a car matter? If she's into that, get the hell away.

Usually, being able to take your girlfriend out to places instead of getting a ride from mommy is a plus.


Never compete for a girl. There are plenty just like her. Shes nothing special, dont treat her like she is.

I don't disagree and I'm not going to compete for her. It's not her...it's just me. She has this boyfriend with a job and a car...then she goes to me who has neither? See?

I'll give it a month. Last night we talked on the phone for an hour and a half. I know that's kind of a no no...but I'm not going to go out on a date with her right now....so I made that exception.
