How do I handle this situation?

So, there's this girl in my speech class this semester. I've had this class twice so far. She is also in another one of my classes, but it's a 320 person lecture class in a giant lecture hall and I can't be sure I'll ever get a seat next to her.

Firstly, it's a small class no more than 20 people and the professor thinks it's high school and there is no talking going on in that room. Anyway, the professor made each student exchange contact information the first class. I got her and two other peoples numbers and emails.

So, with each of us having a class 10 minutes after that speech class, and mine being all the way across campus I literally have no time to talk to anyone. If that speech class runs late I am late to my next class.

No time to talk to her before, during or after class. I've hardly spoken a word to her directly, but I did sit next to her both classes and we did whisper a few things back and forth, and shared a few laughs when we were making fun of the professors outfit. But, then the professor yelled at us...

Should I give this a girl a call sometime? I really don't have a chance to build a rapport with her before during or after class, so I'm not entirely sure how to handle this situation.

You can try to build some rapport online.
Send her a funny email.

Do not call her on the phone yet.

Along the lines of?
If something happend in class that was funny. Mention something about that. If she did something stupid you could bust her balls on it. Say your going to a party. Do something!

Anything else I should include? I mean, simply sending her an email about something that happened in class and that's it?

I'm not used to using the internet for building a rapport, I'm usually talking to someone in person.

"Hey XXX.

Hey so did you see Proff X's tie? Holy cow! Was that bright or what? I think I'm going to start wearing my sunglasses in his class.
But then if he calls attention to it , I'll say I'm blind and then point to you and say that you have to lead me around. And then you'll have to say "Yes, Prof, he IS Blind!" And then we'll both laugh and laugh!
He'll get angrier and angrier!

Ah, My accomplice in Crime. The destruction we can level upon the earth. So tell me..do you know of any banks you want to rob?

BTW,you don't wear any of those funny ties do you?
If you do, then I'll have to wear my sunglasses when we're together. Sorry, nothing personal. But your ties may really make me blind!
You wouldn't want to do that to me,would you?

Signed,

just another guy..."

I wrote this in about two minutes.

Its just an example of being humorous, building a connection on similar expereinces, and including the idea of you two already together doing something.

You have zero time to talk to her before or after class?

Its way better to ask out girls in person.

How long does it take to say, "Hey let's go get some lunch after our next class." Or "Theres this party friday, want to come?" Or "Lets meet up thursday and have a drink."

If she is interested in you she will jump at the chance, and appreciate a man that isnt a chickenshyte to ask her out in person.

How do you not have time after class?

Anyway, it amazes me that you don't even try to game while class is in session. Who says you have to TALK?

You have a body for a reason, use it to express yourself.
- Eye contact
- Facial Expressions
- Gestures

Heck, you can even pass notes like a high school kid.

The point is stop limiting yourself to words, doing the 3 things I mentioned above is far more powerful in expressing yourself than what you actually said. The only thing that actually sucks is that you can't use your voice and when I say voice I don't mean the content, but more of the tonality, what your trying to convey, etc.

As far as the whole e-mailing thing I can't help you on that, because I never really used the internet to talk to chicks.

Well, I'll give it one more class period and see if there is a way I can talk to her. Ask her for coffee or something maybe. If not, I'll come back here for some more advice!
