this is my first real party ever and im 18 i got invest just before and its tonight. im sweating and going toilet heaps from nerves. i dont know what to do i am going late when everyone is already there so they settled when i arrive lonewolf. should i just grab a beer quickly and go lean against the corner and watch? is that the mystery method just wear sunglasses and sit alone and when people come to you neg hit them?

Yeah definately hit up the people you know, then keep your eyes open for girls looking at you. Body language is pretty important here so if you act nervous or uncomfortable girls may lose interest. If you are too nervous to leave the people you know just drink more, haha, it always works. Actually thats exactly what I'm planning on doing tonight, good luck man.
But seriously, take a few minutes with the people you know and get a "feel" of the atmosphere. Who knows there may be some drinking games going on which you may participate in and become a part of the party and meet a lot of people. First parties are nerve recking but you will have fun, drink up!

He's right. Don't be a wallflower. Look important, add to conversations (don't butt in or try to BS about stuff you don't know), and be confident. Being funny in a non-goofy way helps.
