EDIT: Lol, I just realized, "How AFC Are/Were You?" would be a more suitable title =P

Hey 'sup sosuave?

It's been almost a year since I stumbled upon this site and I've changed A LOT. I'm still breaking out of my AFCness but I have improved quite a bit, I'm a lot more comfortable with people (use to be really anxious) and I'm able to act like myself in school, although I am still pretty shy with people I don't know (and as much I'd love to approach some new chicks(which I've been trying to work on), random approahces in HS will almost always come off as creepy unless you can pull it off well by being funny etc; people in HS are usually introduced to each other through mutual friends instead).

Anyways, I made this thread so that peopel can share how AFC they used to be and how much they've improved, mostly to show the non-believers that it really is possible to change.

BEFORE:-Had massive onetitis with this HB 7 or 8-ish or 2 years, I'd always get anxious and red in front of her and basically e-stalked her. Thankfully she didn't care and didn't tell anyone so my rep (pfft, like I had any) was not harmed.

-Had a close knit group of friends (about 4 people).

-Was really nervous/anxious when it came to talking to people, unless they talked to me first.

-Almost never had plans for the weekend, would sometiems even bail out on my friends just to play WoW (I didn't like the game much but I never really felt like going out).

-Didn't know social ettiquette, in most cases I came off as a creepy nerdy guy

Ugh, running out of time so I'll edit and finish the post later, but:

How have you improved since starting out in sosuave?

I was a total afc back in the day. Since I have found this website my game has risen to another level. I realized a lot important things I've never known. I got nothing but respect for pook, playersupreme The true don juans in other words. Without them I would have never realized my mistakes and I've finally manned up.

i've changed a whole lot as well. started last summer out of 8th grade, barely even talked to girls, was nervous, stuff like that. this week i pulled 3 numbers (all girls, good looking, not counting guys, (lol and thats 2 days, the week is young, i could be going for a personal record here haha)) and even approached a set of 2 sophomore girls in class(one hb8-9) and actually had a good, fun conversation goin for about 10 minutes before the bell rang. no joke. so im pretty proud of myself. wouldve never have imagined myself doing that last year. i used to be nervous around both girls and people in higher grades then me. today i proved that both those fears are now gone. so ive come a long way. i think im doing pretty good compared to some guys on this site(im on ly freshman), not to be a braggy arse(lack of better term atm haha) ;). but, not comparing myself to other people, i'm personally proud of myself and have changed a lot. who knows what i'll be like next year :D

thank you sosuave, youve definitely helped me come this far.

I've changed a lot, I was always ridiculously confident, and have always been a "popular" guy, but i've just never known what to do with it, I think i've learnt to channel that confidence into getting girls, I've had pretty bad luck since i've found this page but i've lost weight, and put on muscle and i've had some good signs.

I haven't used all i've learnt, but (I hope I'm not the only one) Have had heaps of "clicks" like realized that whatever that girl asked me to do, or what I saw other guys do, was just a complete AFC mistake, and I find myself learning from others mistakes a lot.

I wouldn't Call myself a Don Juan, but i've definitely a Don.

But time is on your side - Coldplay

-social anxiety. very anti-social
-blushed whenever an attractive girl talked to me.
-a follower.

-now my social anxiety is gone unless i feel completely out of place in a situation. Which is rare. I still have to fight my anti-socialness sometimes and force myself to go out and do something. but iv also excepted it as a part of me and embrace it
-Im a leader now and I love meeting new people

Innergame is the most important thing to work on. Whatever it may be you need to improve on. I felt uncomfortable when in social setting so being the nerd I am I read book after book on body language and psychology. Now I am completely confortable in my own skin because it gave me such confidence in understanding people and as a plus im able to read how other people are feeling by just watching them.

im about 2 years into this and iv seen huge life altering results
