I'd prefer my relationships to be as comfortable as possible.

I'm still trying to debate whether I should confess my feelings for mother-in-law.
And to whom I should confess to first, mother-in-law or wife...

If I confess to mother-in-law, I could at least guage her interest of the idea.
and if wife, she'd most likely get up-set but I should get some points for being honest.

Curious does anyone else dream of bedding their mother-in-laws?

Mine's single, about 45ish and with a 10year old son.
She's recently separated from an abusive boy-friend.
Been thinking of ways to subconsciously suggest sex with her...

Yikes. There's no way I would have sex with a 45 year old woman even if she wasn't my mother in law. How old are you anyway?

Old enough to realize that life is too short to conform to societal norms.

You guys are right.
Being honest doesn't pay huge, if any, dividends.

Maybe I should just focus on denying her potential mates, by:
1) subtly pointing out flaws of any potential suitor (real or not) to her daughter.
2) keeping tabs on 10 year old brother-in-law through wife (subtle way of telling wife that her mom should focus on his education/development)
2) reminding her and wife that most on-line date sites are filled with needy (AFC) men and/or mentally unstable men (last bf was just that, needy and unstable)
4) spending more time with her by inviting her over to our place more often and/or accompany her for daily routines (cooking, buying groceries, etc.)
5) making sure to leave her presence on a high/happy note.

This strategy would definitely take more time, but it’s much less dangerous than being out-right honest.
Better to have her think of me as a potential source for sexual release.
Just gotta plant this thought into her head, however small and let it grow and fester with time.

Well, judging from the poll it doesn't look like I'm the only one who's thought of sexing their mother-in-law.
