HotorNot scores a little off

Ok so I put my pic on HotorNot and my score is a 9.3. What the hell! if I'm a 9.3 then I must be right there with Brad Pitt. What do you guys think is HotorNot truthfull and I'm totally blind to my own beauty and sexiness, or is the HotorNot rating system flawed and I'm an ugly bastard?

depends on the people voting on you. I'm a solid 7.5 I think its pretty much about right.

Can't say for the men, but for the women that site is seriously flawed. There are some nasty ass b*tches on there but I have yet to see any girl below a 5.5. Girls that are in the Average to Cute spectrum (5, 6, 7) are routinely getting 9's and 10's. Girls that are just downright ugly are 5's and 6's. I admittedly have very low standards, too. I usually find girls to be much more attractive than what my friends think.

Something is skewing the results upwards. It could be designed that way so people feel better about themselves. This creates enjoyment from being rated higher than they perceive themselves, and thus draw more traffic to the site through word of mouth and so forth. If I were an 8.5 I'd be much more likely to drop my link to somebody than if I were a 4.

If you knew every woman that voted for you were homely ugly women missing teeth and had fat bellies would your high score still give you an ego boost? Do you know what the women look like who gave you any vote?

If you knew all the votes were from hot attractive women then you'll have a reason to think your really hot goes for the women too..If the women were getting votes for hot from fat old men balding with no teeth would these women still feel attractive and hot if they knew this? I doubt it so it's a failed system. Also whose to say men are not voting on men like gay men showing up voting...Something to think about.

So bottom line is unless you see first hand who it is voting for you the only recoarse is to just find your ownself attractive.

Idk about you guys, but when I wanna fvck with someones score, I rate it a 1 not a 9, unless someone wants to fvck with your score and make it higher, which defeats the purpose of fvcking with your score, its probably true...your not ugly if your not brad pitt....

i went on there and got 9.9. seriously and i am kinda handsome but not VERY.
dude, you are good looking enough to pull any girl with tight game, but you are not 9.3 i think only models are really men like that are very rare.
