I went to a happy hour event last night and ran into the married girl I mentioned in the other post. There wasn't much in the way of talent so I bailed early. I ran into a post happy hour event just down the block but it was very cliqueish so I bailed from that event shortly thereafter.
I wasn't quite ready to retire for the night so I went across the street to a cafe. I'm not sure how this particular cafe stays open as it's never busy and not well situated to take advantage of a morning or weekend crowd. Nonetheless I drop in, grab a beer, check my phone for a bit.
I stay a bit longer than anticipated. There's a weird girl checking me out. She's tall, young and hot. However, her hair's stringy and her teeth are stained. She keeps looking at me, going out, coming back in. I kinda sorta register something's up but not really honed in on her "situation."
I head out and see her sitting on the edge of the sidewalk. She's still staring at me. "Are you all right."
"Um yeah, maybe." Silence. "Hey, do you have a couch I can crash on?"
"Are you homeless?"
"No, I'm from out of town, I just need a place for tonight!"
I could've screwed this girl's brains out just by offering her a roof over her head and a shower for one night. I talk to her a bit more about some random topics but she can see she's being rejected. Man, what extremes. Married girls and homeless girls offering themselves up. Looking for single girls this weekend.
