Got there with the best of expectations and it was worse!
Yes, there really was bunches of old sleazy looking guys crowded round the stage. It was just awful. It wasn't my expectations either.
Some girl caught me looking at her and came over, started pressurising me for a dance. I'll let myself off just this once for not saying much; it's just plain wierd. Fortunately the thought of her fantastically massive black ass was replaced by my bank manager. One up for the wallet but one down as an opportunity to chat a girl up. I just couldn't bring myself to even try to do it - I relised what I'm really looking for; not sex but company.
This girl was clearly confused as to why I was there. Now I could answer her - most guys are looking for sex, they're looking for company, it's just that sex is the motivator. I should have been a lot more confident instead of worrying about `am I allowed to touch her`. - and then shafted her by leaving early and not having a dance.
It got a bit better. They had a dance compeitition and the girls seemed to start enjoying themselves rather than having the grimice of someone having a bunion removed. That image of this boney girl dancing to some club tune in such a loutish way will stay with me forever.
A bit later on their was a new girl that came on. She wasn't liking it but they forced her to carry on. The girls already there were `breaking her in` with a belt. She didn't like having to fake being a lesbian at all. I could see her friend going up to the bouncer and asking them to do something - who was ignored. I should have done something.
I'm not sure if these places are a good training ground.
