TORONTO (AP) — Canada's highest court struck down the country's anti-prostitution laws Friday, a victory for sex workers who had argued that a ban on brothels and other measures made their profession more dangerous. The ruling drew criticism from the conservative government and religious leaders.

Is it now? Seems every article I've read says it is suspended for one year in order to allow the Parliament to write a more comprehensive legislature.

I wonder what are the implications of this for the demographics of Canada. When Germany legalized prostitution, an influx of women from all the poor countries in Europe moved over to Germany.

Prostitution has been legal here for a long time but brothels, soliciting and pimping were not. What this decision means is that we can now have a Nevada-style sex industry.

Im not against prostitution itself, in fact I also support a hamsterdam law style.

But personally I would never pay a professional hooker to have sex with me, altough I would have no problem to give a non professional girl 50 euros for a bl0wjob.

They use condoms for bl0wjobs, though. The thought never appealed to me.

On the HBO show about the Nevada Bunny Ranch, which by the way is like an expose on borderline personality disorder, the girls say their biggest complaint is guys who can't get it up because they are not used to having sex with condoms.
