Homecoming's Next Week - Should I learn how to dance?

Well I've never been to homecoming before and I figure, what the f*ck it's my senior year and it's the last chance I'll have to go, so I'm going. But I wonder, is knowing how to dance really that important? Usually when I'm at dances I just do my own thing and improvise. And if knowing how to dance is important, are there any sites or videos I could look at to learn?

YES! Yes, for the love of Don Juan you must learn how to dance. The fact that I was the sole guy at my homecoming (and later prom) that actually knew how to dance helped me get so many girls. I had a blast just because I took a couple lessons.

What kind of dance really depends on the setting. If your school is doing a big traditionalist theme, then go with the music and learn Salsa (You can really adjust that to do anything) and more classical dances.
If it's just a standard dance with stuff like hip hop and the occasional slow dance, then watch Hitch and learn the two step. Good Luck!

Yeah, it's just gonna be like typical hip hop, pop and rock stuff. Although anyway I could learn for free? I really don't have the time or money to get that movie.
