No....it came out on the WB11 (now the CW) about two years ago. It's completely scripted, and how the hot guys gets the numbers while the dorks don't, exactly. Thats why you'll see the personalities of the people come out, and how they start to hate/like each other. Scripted hooking tis is.

Good for a laugh, but for a realistic representation, nope.

Although it is an interesting show to watch. However after all they go through during the show, it's kind of ridiculous how they choose the winner, with little retarded questions like that.

I saw this - while the original poster is wrong about there being a new show about this, I noticed on MTV there are different situations and clips that people can really learn from. This one for example, which was a challenge who could get the most #s from cold approaching in one hour, and the winner would not be eliminated or something. And guess what?? The 4 guys doing it, one of them got THIRTEEN #s off of cold approaching. Another one got more than 10 #s as well. Only the really ugly geek got nothing.......except, EVEN HE GOT 2 NUMBERS!

what does this prove?? if anyone saw this particular episode, they would notice how easy it is to cold approach and get many numbers from random cute chicks IF ONE ONLY TRIES. These guys were made to try, the one who got 13 numbers probably felt the most pressure to win, and he just ****ing went up to girl after girl after girl and did it.

So, anyone can cold approach if they just try. Good thread.
