This seems like an Anything Else topic...but can you cite some examples? Pretty much every movie that I watch has the male lead as the protagonist.

Speaking of women as the hero, what's with Michael Cera types becoming lead characters in movies now? (I hardly consider him male)

I saw Zombieland tonight, and the main character was this sniveling vagina that I thought must be Michael Cera until I got a better look at him and realized that apparently there are more than one of these sissies running around Hollywood now. The always badass Woody Harrelson co-starred alongside him, but somehow they made sure to keep AFC boy as the hero despite the fact that he was apologizing for everything the whole movie while Woody was taking care of business.

The movie itself was good, but I have a really low tolerance for the whole AFC saves the day and gets the girl thing now. In real life, that kid would have been zombie chow in the first scene and Woody would have been balls deep in this chick that was half his age.
