Hold on... why is texting better than email?

I've noticed texting isn't condemned like email. To me, they both lack that human touch. What gives?

I think txting is more personal. I do business through E-mail, it's not really on a personal level I think...

I don't know about you guys but I can't help but trip over all the threads telling guys to stop emailing and texting so much wasting their time rather than just calling a woman and hooking up. I don't know what's in the High School forum though.
