"hit and run" attacks

How would you deal with people who diss you when they walk by you and then just walk by/ignore you when you try to diss them back? There's these two jackasses at my school and whenever they walk past me they sarcastically say "nice pants" no matter what i'm wearing and then walk away laughing and ignore me when i try to diss them back. These were people that bullied me in my pre-sosuave.com days when I was a quiet nerd, they're pretty much both outcasts themselves but I don't know how to deal with this type of bullying.

Don't worry about them bottom line. But if you want you can try what I do when someone makes fun of how I dress. If that's what they are attacking, if it's something else this won't work......When people go to me "Nice shirt Homo" I will pick out some clothes they are wearing and be like "Nice shirt, no I really like I always thought people with Nike shirts were cool. Man I just want to make some rad friends like you, you know I just want to dress cool and fit in." but say it really serious so they kind of unsure if you are joking but other will know that you are ripping on them....follow?

Yeah man, to deal with these guys you usually fcan't do it alone, you protect yourself with your company you keep, if you hang around AFC's and they never defend themselves they will notice and have FUN with the group.

It's like teasing a girl, they are alpha and they know it around you when you get flustered about something like that they know how to pull your strings, and they found a game doing it...

Just ignore them, turn to one of your friends and say "Hey, they're right these really are great pants!" and than be on your way. Don't give a ****! If you could hear my tone of voice this might come across different.

I'm laughing with them, and at the comments mentioned above, it sounds like you teasing a girl, and than she starts crying... that's what you call a spoiled brat, you say nice pants "what would she do?" practice on other people, and copy them...

Tomorrow your goal is to say "NICE PANTS!" to as many people as possible, old young, male female, *****es, *******s, teachers, principals....

Than pick what made you laugh, what made you scared, what made you ask them twice.... Just don't care, get on with your life, good friends are part of life, so, my real advice would be ignore them and they'll stop or, they will turn up the volume and you've got somebody at your back. Protection goes a long way, but so does complacency, no girl will look at you if you say nothing, but say nothing and get angry about it or scared and they will notice, and they'll get the idea they can tease you as well, eventually if the world was like that, everybody would start to tease you... Everybody is different...

HAHA this topic is so simple I could go on for days...

I would've responded with: "I know I got nice pants! Why do you gotta check me out?! You gotta be a hot chick to get INTO these pants, ya homos!"

Or just go on about your day and ignore -- no sweat; its their problem anyways.

I like to mix and match my responses.
