You can not prove or deny existence of God, because it is a question of faith.

Let's talk about levels of intelligence, levels of consciousness. Let's draw a scale of different levels of intelligence.

^
|
|- GOAT
|
|- CABBAGE
|
|- ROCK

Scale of intelligence goes up. Let's take a rock, rock just exists, it receives no information, it has no senses. Higher up is cabbage, or a tree, a flower. Cabbage is alive, it receives information and acts up on it, for example if there is no water in earth, its roots will grow deeper. Sun flower might turn itself towards sun. But cabbage has no information about its surroundings, animals like a goat for example.

Higher up on intelligence scale is an animal, in our case a goat. If goat comes towards cabbage and eats its leaf, cabbage wouldn't know what happened. For cabbage the leaf was, and then it disappeared, it would be an act of God for cabbage.

In same analogy our human senses might not see a higher up level of consciousness, higher intelligence.

This concept was taken out of lecture in FSB academy, back from 2001. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=фсб+бог

There is a lot more, it's all on youtube. I find it especially interesting because an intelligence agency listened to it. He goes on explaining how lower level intelligence being can talk to higher level intelligence (talk to God), how religious institutions are surrogates and that every man can talk himself directly to God, then he goes on explaining language of higher level intelligence beings (language of God).

You cannot prove or deny the existence of dragons, the Easter Bunny or Santa Clause either. But for some reason, certain fairy tales are more socially acceptable to believe than others. They are all fairy tales because there is no evidence (scientific).

Its really that simple.

Actually you can prove the none existence of both Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and a Dragon. Your senses permit you for searching in your surroundings for these creatures. Just like a goat can prove the existence of cat.

However, with higher level intelligence, things are different, as we have no senses to neither prove nor deny the existence of intelligence on higher level in the hierarchy.........

^
|- HIGHER LEVEL INTELLIGENCE (GOD??)
|
|- HUMAN (can not imagine a higher level of intelligence)
|
|- GOAT (scientific council of 10 goats together can not comprehend what is human)
|
|- CABBAGE (has no senses to imagine a creature like goat)
|
|- ROCK (a mineral, receives no information)

......Just like cabbage can not prove the existence nor deny the existence of a goat. Cabbage can not imagine such a creature as goat, it has no senses to permit such a scientific discovery. For cabbage an eaten leaf is a chance occurrence, an act of God.

However, understanding that there must be a higher level of intelligence is a matter of common sense. With new theories about different dimensions, it is even a matter of scientific fiction.

As a side note, difference exists between "I believe in God" (or whatever you call it) and "I trust God". In first instance one believes into existence of higher consciousness, in second instance one has faith..............

..............faith that by living life righteously "God" will direct in the right way.

Worst argument for "god" I've ever heard of aye? The lengths people will go to in order to believe they get to live forever because the party just can't go on without them...

.
Goats can't talk...

And they don't give a **** about cats...

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

Just because one cabbage says there are no goats, and the other cabbage says worst argument for existence of goat, don't mean there isn't a goat roaming around. We just have no senses capable of seeing a goat. In fact we are not even capable of realizing such creature as goat. Thus we can not prove nor deny the existence of goat.

Correcting the bolded part above - humanity can not know a higher level of intelligence. The fact is, we can imagine it only too well. It is the oddity of our culture to so resoundingly reject this imagination simply because we have become obsessed with knowledge.

The way Kant dealt with it was like this. Scientific knowledge is not of reality but of appearances. Reality is unknowable. Such things as ethics and metaphysics [belief] is not based on pure reason but practical reason. In so far as we experience ourselves as moral beings, we are compelled to assume some moral ground of reality [God]. It is a normative idea, just as the existence of your self, and the existence of an external world is. It think you find here the beginning of existentialism.
