Personally, I think coloring your hair is best left up to the women but if you can get away with it......

Do whatever gets you noticed.

I have one of the most unique hairstyles and it gets a lot of comments. when I decide to grow it out, I soften it and curl it up and soemtimes, I evenhave one curl sticking out in the front in the middle which looks "cute" according to girls, they also like touching my curls b/c they get really hard when I use Dep Gel, I also have those 1970's style mutton chops which looks cool.

p.s. Look at the hairstyle Ashlee Angel has in the picture gallery in "Anything else," mine is about the same but with a little more hair.

It is ok since many people at my university do it. We have a lot of GQ model look alikes walking around with $100 hairstyles and $450 clothes (AU $$). These guys have pieces of papers with phone numbers of women as fat as their wallet.

Highlighting should, if done right, will attract more females. We all heard when a brunette dyes her hair blonde more guys come flocking to her - same with highlighting. It makes you stand out from the crowd and shows women you have a sense of style. However if you are older, a conservative look (ie dont dye your hair) is much better option.

Remember highlighting works if you have the face for it (skin tone, face structure) and it looks natural.
