I'm looking forward to a new, positive forum that'll be easier to read and will better help mature (25+) men exchange help, ideas, techniques and experiences.

If by mature you mean an end to a bunch of clueless chicks and kids parroting the same zombified sh!t in here over and over then yeah I agree.

We just have to keep the trolls out.

I mean I think we should allow viewpoints, but my god when a 23 year old came here and argued with us, thats kind of ridiculous.

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

( . )( . ): No worries. Everyone will still be subject to my marathon posts, outspoken pragmatism and brutally unfiltered objectivism you all (and WYLDFIRE) have come to expect from me.

Please keep the kiddies out. I don't care how mature a 23 or 24 year old thinks he is, I don't want his tips.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

You really shouldn't allow my posting to annoy you so badly that you feel compelled to be a sanctimonious smart ass, Rollo.

I don't appreciate being lumped into the way the guys on here stereotype single mothers. All the foreskin bearing fellas get offended anytime something negative is posted about hoodies, too. It's pretty natural and your (and WYLDFIRE) quips are quite petty and unbecoming from someone of your intelligence.

I think you'll be a good mod, by the way.

I tease you because I like you.

;)

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Damn, some other mod beat me to taking the sticky off that "Dangerous Stud" thread.
Oh yeah bro, my first order of business. "Dangerous Stud"...LOL

I think Paradox was smoking something when he put that sticky on it. ;)

Rollo...let's remember who you're talking to, shall we? "Like" is a rather strong word. You appreciate what I bring to the table...but I frustrate the hell out of you...at least much of the time. I suppose if you're a masochist you might get off on that...but somehow I doubt it.

Just keeping it real.

Oh...and which one of you new mods deleted the thread I started about the guy who brings his personal problems to work with him? That topic was not only important, but clearly necessary for some of the guys that frequent this section particularly. It's very easy for frustrated men to obsess over a break up with a wife or girlfriend to the point where they harp on it and aren't able to move on. We see that EVERY day on this forum repeatedly. It's very likely some of the guys here DO go to work and complain about their relationship problems or break ups to their co workers. I posted what I did so anyone who does that will think twice before making themselves the guy everyone avoids and doesn't like.

On edit...I just noticed my thread was moved to "Anything Else". Although that's better than having it deleted...I posted it in this forum because this is the forum where those most at risk of becoming "Downer Dan" at their place of employment posts most of all.

Yeah, I noticed that after I posted. If you guys are going to move a thread you should do it in the way that leaves the thread where it was orginally posted because that's where the person who started it is going to look for it. If there is nothing there they are going to assume it was deleted, just as I did.

It will save you guys the trouble of fielding questions and complaints if you give a reason for closing or merging threads and leave a trace of anything moved. It may just have been a case of whoever moved it not being very familiar with the moderating control panel. If there isn't a thread in the mod forum explaining basics like that it might be a good idea for you guys to try to sort out some uniform policies for little things like that. Consistency is a good thing in moderation and little things like a brief explanation of why something was locked can go a very long way in avoid unnecessarily ruffled feathers. The less threads that get started attacking mods, the better. :D

Hey Wyld,

I didn't move that thread, but I think it should go in Anything Else, so kudos to whoever moved it.

Other than that, thanks for the moding tips; however, those too should go into anything else in lieu of a suggestions and feedback forum. Or better yet, send us a PM.

Yikes....a threat on the first full workday. Got any tips for us on how to deal with those? ;)

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.
