Just how are herpes blisters supposed to be like? I've been getting water-filled blisters for awhile now, but they don't seem like the big pus-filled, crusty blisters I found on herpes articles.

Herpes blisters are small pimples that usually hurt a lot. If you have a sore that has not popped, your doctor should be able to test it for herpes. Other than an active sore, the only other test for herpes is to check your blood for the antibodies, but many people carry those antibodies without ever passing on hsv2 or having an outbreak.

By small pimples, do you mean a red bump? Mine starts off with a slight sharp pain, but doesn't exactly fit the "very painful" profile I've been read off most Herpes article. Yet they don't seem like normal blisters and I'm getting so many of them.

Does other fungal infection cause water-filled blisters? And yes thanks, I'll go to the docs but hope to get some personal opinions and experience as well. Thanks
