Ok, here's the deal.
First of all, I was really good friends with this girl for about 2 years, and we became really good friends, almost best friends. I thought there was something romantic in it, everyone around us did, so about 6 months ago, i asked her out on a date, to which she said yes to.
Then for the next 6 weeks she just blankly ignored me, and when i tried to talk to her, she just blanked me, and didnt reply when i phoned/texted her. I then asked her what her problem was, and she snapped at me that maybe it was better if we stayed friends, to which i said 'sure' to.
Anyway for the last 3 months since then, I've seen her practically every day around college, and everytime i walk past her, she just ignores me, and then when i do say hi, she just mumbles and then walks off. Me and one of her/and my female friends will be talking, and she'll come up to our friend mid-way through out conversation, talk to her for a while whilst totally ignoring me, then walk off.
Anyway, here's the problem. Our mutual friend was talking to her the other day, and asked her what the problem was between us. She replied "dunno, there is no problem" to which our friend replied 'there obviously is" cos u just ignore him. the girl in question told our mutual friend, that she felt i had "pressured her" to go out with me, and that she still wanted to be friends with me, just felt awkward around me and didn't know what to say. Our friend said to her "so if he spoke to you, would you speak back", she said "yes".
So the next day, I'm at college, and I see her in the corridor, and I say "Hi", she just grunted "Hello" and walked off. Our mutual friend says that I should try and talk to her, but i dunno, is it worth the hassle, shouldnt i just walk away?
I dunno, its just all awkward..........
