realize that there are two kinds of good abs, "fitness magazine" abs, which are pretty much wat most people think of as the perfect abs, and then there are those people with 'buddha bellies', yet they have harder and stronger abs than anyone in a mens health magazine photo. i see it all the time in my martial arts program, shaolin chuan'fa, already my stomach has gotten tighter, not defined at all, but its getting alot harder, let me tell you its surprising to strike a supposed beer belly and hit a brick

'tucking' a shirt refers to tucking the excess loose fabric of the bottom of the shirt inside ones pants, like you would normally do wearing dress clothing, like a suit, or even just an oxford type shirt and dress pants

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

wow a lot of good stuff said, a lot of bull**** said too. there is no "one look" that women prefer. these people who are saying "a good style is this, because i wear it" are retarded, you need to dress nice yes, but it still needs to be YOU. if all of your friends are skaters and you skate then chances are you wear skater clothing. if you show up to school one day and your sporting abercrombie and fitch and are wearing $120 jeans... first everyone will know your a ****ing poser, and second you just wasted $120 on jeans. give me a break, the best pair of jeans i ever bought were $25, the most expensive i have ever bought were $50, and believe me i wont ever spend that much on jeans again. i'm using skaters as an example here because thats what and who i am. i had the standard skater look going for a long time - skater shoes, jeans, a tshirt, maybe a hat or something. one day i got sick of looking the same as everyone else, but i did not want to change my whole style, so i made two changes and have gotten compliments like mad from everyone - my guy friends, my girl friends, my girlfriend, my ex, like seriously everybody except for the occassional hater, but they're just jealous i think. anyways, here's what i did - i bought shirts that stand out, but arent flashy. for example, i have a light pink tshirt, girls are constantly telling me its way hot. i also have a green tshirt, because not many people wear green around here. second, i bought shoes that matched my shirts. these are skater shoes, and the best choice i made was a pair of white globe shoes, and then bought the laces of the other color globe shoes, then i can just switch the laces out to match my shirt. you would not believe how people notice this. the point of this isnt for you to copy my style, its for you to keep your style, but make it look sharp and unique. you should be able to go to a party, and when you see someone the next day they'll be like "hey, you were the guy with the pink tshirt." it should leave an impression, a good impression. but dont just buy it because i did, or you saw it in some magazine, but it because YOU like it.

I realize that everyone has their own clothing styles, personally I like how some black people (men) dress with the rags on their head and bling around their necks with an oversized jersey.

I have not read every post on this subject but I have read 4 of the 7 pages. I have not seen a post that talks about the style of clothing you wear can, in most cases be, determined by the women you are attracted to. I have had 4 years of high school and 3 years of college 2 years of part time college while attending high school. To sum up my popularity I was not the most popular person that everyone adored, however I knew and talked with everyone (with the exception of retards and disgusting slobs, no hard feelings towards them, but I would feel out of place talking to them even if it was one-on-one), my clique resides with the higher-class preps, that should bring some haters out on this thread! Anyways I feel that your dress style should depend on the kind of women you wish to attract. Example, if you dress gothic your intentions should be women who are into theater, (this generalization comes from my high school, girls in the theatrical arts seemed to be attracted to guys that dressed in all black, even though they did not dress that way themselves) or girls who dress gothic themselves. Myself, for example, I like girls who like to look good, therefore I dress in polo shirts, button up style dress shirts with stripped styles, and faded style blue jeans from stores like: The Buckle, Men’s Express, American Eagle, Pacific Sunwear, a few T-****rs from Hollister (because that store strikes me as tooo gay), Aeropostale, and a few things from Nautica (which I do not seem to wear very often). As for shoes I like to go with White Classic Luxury Edition K-Swiss, Doc-Martins, and Oxford White Timberland Tennis shoes. If I wear any accessories I go with a seashell necklace (not bulky shells, small disc shaped shells) that I got from The Buckle.

The point of this post was to say, if you think that dressing a certain way will net you the girl you want. Then you need to go with that style and try clothes on in a dressing room find clothes that sport your intended style that you feel comfortable and confident in. There is no one style that will drive all the women in the world to your side.

I have a question to ask also I know that the first post was made a year ago, but hair gel is seriously out? I don’t know anyone who uses wax in there hair, but is wax similar to hair gel?

I know this is my first post so take it or leave it, make fun of it for all I care. Hopefully, my message is clear if you are attracted to certain women dress with the fashion that will make you pleasing in their eyes. I know this message seems obvious but I haven’t come across any posts that say it straight, or can even be inferred as the message I am trying to get across.

Sorry for the long boring post, hopefully it helps someone, or gives someone the initiative to pick apart my ramblings with smooth remarks!

Later, I’ll probably never post on here again so cya ;)

Whoa pretty defensive there "I need a girl", don't give up on the board yet!

As far as the whole gay hairdresser thing goes, that sounds promising. I certainly need a change. I saw a book at Target "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" that seems to give grooming and style tips. Anyone know if it's a worthy puchase?

You know what's even funnier about this quote? These guys you're talking about are the same guys who act very picky and like to point out the faults in women, and ***** about how they are fat, or out of shape, or are not good enough for them, yet do nothing to work on themsevelves, and are here searching for the miracle one liners/pick up lines to turn up the seduction. Ha.

LOL, that's so true. In fact I just started a new thread on that topic.
