So I know this girl through friends friends friends not really formally introduced so more of an acquaintance. I want to take her out. Were somehow facebook friends. So I took the chance and messaged her.

Right chap. When you actually do take her out you can't pause time, log on to a computer and then ask for advice one what to say next in the conversation. Not trying to patronise you, just clarify.

Facebook is just a medium like MSN messenger and the telephone. Granted there are different levels of response times between a live conversation and a messaging service. The issue is, if you can't think of anything to say after something like two hours, then how stupid do you think you'll come across in a face to face conversation.

Don't ask for a canned line. If you must, ask on how to improve your conversation skills or something similar.

I have no issues with regard to live conversation, that is actually my specialty. In fact, I would prefer she be in front of me right now so I can do my thing and take her out.

The problem with facebook is there is no emotion involved. No eye contact, no touching, and teasing can't be timed to perfection. This is why I feel like there is far more room for error with respect to facebook. Because there's time to analyze, the person you're messaging with will analyze every word you say from every angle.

I'm not asking for a canned line, I'm asking for direction.

Stick an obvious typo in somewhere and say what you want. It'll look like you've rushed it so they won't analyze it too much (hopefully you have got better things to do than think of a reply for 2 hours and are a bit more spontaneous). I like doimg that a lot.

MY RESPONSE: You know we can semi relate, I teach tennis to little kids on the weekends, except not hardcore strict like I think you are.. haha, it's good fun, and the ladies somehow believe that it brings out a sensitive side so can't complain really.. haha.

Now we'll have to get together for a coffee, to discuss "trade secrets" and all.. You live in the Pasig area as well yeah??

There, that's what Aragon would do. Whether it would work or not is another thing. Though it has worked well for me on the phone.
