Help on a blind date

I was set up on a blind date last weekend. S'ppsedly, the girl is interested, she even made an effort to meet up this wknd as well.
Afterward, I told her I would give her a call this week to set something up for next wknd. I am not really interested in dating her, but just interested in hanging out and having some fun. Really only want to just hook up.
However, she lives in Chicago and I live in Indiana, so I have to make an hour drive to her turf.

I am planning on texting her to set something up, but not sure what to do/say as I would be making the drive to Chicago.

I can tell you're another "brotha'" from around the way. Because I thought only us bruhs down here in the deep and dirty south used that term. It looks like I was wrong.

Anyway, back on the subject:

I agree with Blackmm. Except I'd even take it one step further: I'd probably try to get the girl to agree to post up mutual videos of each other. The reason I say "video" is because the Internet is full of fake, photo-shopped, or flatteringly "staged" photos of UNATTRACTIVE women.

And come to think of it, I've never really had but one or two guys MY WHOLE LIFE who knew my tastes well enough for me to trust them to set me up on a blind date. Most other attempts were so off target that I damn near lost friendships over it. Just kiddin', bigsrvelaj.

But seriously, STILL try to get some idea of what this woman looks like that you've decided to drive so far to meet. A lot of guys who only have the intention of "hooking up" with a chick wind up in a full blown, lame-assed, long distance relationship.
