That post did not have the typical signature link to generic viagra or some other junk they are usually selling, but with google I found the exact same post on several unrelated forums.

I'm not a computer guy, so bear with my low-tech explanation, but web forums almost all use vb bulletin software: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VBulletin - so spammers write bot programs that pretend to be real people. They get better all the time, but you can still tell that they're bots by the generic nature of the wording. The H&F forum on sosuave is bot paradise. Recently, one of them quoted my post word-for-word back to me. Sometimes they just regurgitate random words from the discussion.

Since this one does not have a spam link directly in the post, I'm guessing that it's a test to see if it gets deleted, and then the program will return later to post the spam link. The link I posted to the horse forum is a thread that is pages and pages of nothing but bot spam.
