I want to ask you guys what you consider to be healthy beliefs about sex?
I am posting this in the tips section because the replies are going to end up as tips, essentially.
I must have negative beliefs about sex because my reaction to it potentially happening is that i get nervous...tense up...and ultimately...block my "reactions". i seem to concentrate on getting an erection whilst the heavy petting is happening...as if my mind is saying "come on then, get an erection" and this in turn blocks my responses. it is pressure essentially.
this needs to stop. i am not relaxing physicallly nor mentally in such situations. i think part of this might stem from the fact that when i was younger, talk about sex was taboo in our house and felt arkward if ever brought up. my parents would never let me have a girl to stay over.
so if i need to replace my existing beliefs, then what are some good things to start absorbing?
